|Unexpected Reunion|
"It's been a while, Seth," said Isis as she held a knife to Seth's neck. "Horus, say hello to your uncle." after some hesitancy Horus said hello. Which resulted in loud laughter by Seth. 
"You truly surprise me, Isis. You get the time to hook up with someone and carry his child in the middle of all this stuff. PUHAHAHA!!! And here, silly little Nef continually fears about you." 
Seth's nonchalant attitude was getting on Isis's nerves but before she can do anything, Seth held her by his sand and started crushing her. 
In the middle of all this suddenly Maat, the goddess of truth and justice came there with other gods,  demanding Seth to quiet down and take responsibility for all the unjust and wicked things done by him. To which Seth laughed and called all the gods cowards and taunted his parents about finally showing up. 
"Thoth, can we go and look for my aunt? Please." requested Anubis as he looked at Thoth. "Yeah, sure where is she??" said Thoth smiling. "I don't know. Fa-father had her locked up somewhere for helping me."  said Anubis sobbing.  "suh, suh,  don't cry we will go and search for her alright?" Thoth said trying to calm the boy down.  
Thoth and Anubis were walking down the hallway looking through every room that they come across in search of Nefertari. While walking they saw a figure coming their way. Horus comes to a halt as he catches sight of the God. 
"Oh, Horus. Where are you heading to?" "Umm, to my room." answer the demigod shortly before noticing another demigod much shorter than him.  "If you don't mind, would you help us with something?" "umm,  what is it?"  asked Horus skeptically. Thoth looked at Anubis for approval and thought of continuing after seeing no objection. 
"Um,  in search of Nefertari."

After a long search by the three, they finally found Nefertari in a basement-like room all chained up and blood coming out of her forehead. Anubis witnessing the state of his aunt ran to her crying and started shaking her. "AUNT!! AUNT!! WAKE UP,  PLEASE!"  
Thoth was taken back from the view. Not expecting Nefertari to be in such a horrible state. Horus was the one to take matters into his hand and poked Thoth, saying he should calm Anubis down and take him to his room. While he took her to his mother for a check-up. Thoth nodded and did as said. After them leaving, Horus set Nefertari free and took her to his mother. 
"Mother, may I come inside?" "Yes." Isis turn around to greet her son but stopped seeing a familiar figure in his arms. "Horus?" "Mother, she is aunt Nefertari maybe? Thoth asked my help in searching for her then we found her in this state." Informed Horus as he put the almost lifeless body down on the bed. 
Isis was voiceless for some time, not being able to digest the news. How can she forget about her?? She did not even cross Isis's mind once. How did this wenc-- whatever. She is not the priority right now. "Please,  heal her mother.  She may be a victim of abuse and can be a help to us." 
Isis nodded and half heal Nefertari as she was not going to put her precious time and energy into her. "I have healed her, take this to some other room. I have work to do, Horus. Do not get too caught up on her and get some rest. You have a trial tomorrow." Isis told her son strictly. "Yes,  mother." 
Horus's POV~ 
Why was mother so disdainful, when she saw aunt Nefertari? She is always such a compassionate person toward women and would have sympathy even for the worst people. She looked ready to stab aunt. What may have happened for mother to be so upset with aunt? 
This woman looks to be in a lot of pain. Truth be told, she is very delicate and rawboned. I should take her to my room maybe? Yeah. 
Later that evening, Nefertari eventually started to come to her senses. 
Oh,  aunt is awake. I should help her?

As Nefertari sit up, she couldn't feel the chains on her body nor the unbearable pain. She looked around in the hope of gasping her location and found a tall bulky man making his way towards her. "Who are you?? Where am I??" 
"I'm Horus and you are currently in my room....... Aunt." Replied Horus as he slowly moved closer to her. "Horus?? Which god are you?? Has it been that long since I have seen other gods that I can't recall you???" asked the Goddess with a glimpse of embarrassment. "No!! Wait did you call me aunt??" "yes?" "Was that supposed to be an answer or question? Boy?" 
"Oh, pardon me. Let me introduce myself properly. I'm--" "Yeah, proceed." interrupted Nefertari eagerly. "Yes, aunt. I'm Horus. Son of Osiris and Isis and your nephew." as soon as Horus said that he found Nefertari standing on her feet and holding his shoulder tightly. "Hear me, boy. You better be not fooling around with me. If you are better consider yourself dead. Now,  explain!"  
The sudden outburst of Nefertari had Horus standstill. Nevertheless, taking a sigh he told her everything about his mother, him, and what happened after their arrival.  
"I-isis is alive?? You a-are my nephew? Oh my," saying this Nefertari immediately hugged Horus and started shedding tears.  "I, I'm sorry my child for everything that you and your mother had to put up with. I'm sorry for all the suffering and whatnot. I I--" Nefertari tried to speak as clearly as possible through her sobs. "It's alright, aunt. You should probably go to Anubis.  He was truly worried about you." "Alright, I will come to meet you again, and Isis too." saying so she went in search of her most beloved nephew. 
"I feel quite warm inside.  Aunt is....." 
Earlier that evening 
Seth was beating the life out of Anubis as punishment for betraying him. That too in front of Nephthys, who couldn't do anything but helplessly watch her son getting beaten up by her husband.  "ANUBIS!!! SETH, PLEASE LET HIM GO!!! AnUBiS!" begged Nephthys as she tried to reach her son through the bars but couldn't.  "fa.... father, please, n... No moreee" "That's what you get for disobedience." stating that Seth went away leaving behind a Weeping Nephthys and brutally injured Anubis. 
After some time, the boy got up and silently went away from there not giving any response to the calls from his mother. "Again, this happened again!! Till when is mother thinking of continuing it? Why can't she understand?? He is no more the man, who loved his wife and child more than himself!! He,  he is no more my father!! He...  Why would he do this? What happened to my fa.....  Father."  
Nefertari was walking to Anubis's room when she found a heavily injured Anubis sobbing and breaking down in the middle of the hall. "Anubis!! My child.  What happened?? Who did this???" asked The lady as she hurriedly went to his side. "Who else." "That shit.  Anubis, please don't cry my boy. Let... Let's go to your room and heal you up first, alright." Tried to comfort the elder as she held her tears. "aunt, why is he like that? WHY HE HAS TO RUIN OUR FAMILY??? WHY...  WHY HE IS RUINING HIS OWN FAMILY... Aunt, why?" yelling so he ran to his chamber. 
Nefertari followed her nephew and comforted him to her best and healed his injury. "please, stay here tonight. Aunt." "I will, my child."
