WE CAN'T BE TOGETHER

"Why are you being so clingy today, Sana?"

Sana didn't respond; instead, she squeezed her even closer.

"Now that your graduation is finally over, why don't you change?"

"Hey, clingy couple! Would you like to attend our graduation celebration?"

"Do I even get invited?"

"Of course. Dahyun will be invited anyways."

"Dahyun, huh."

"Bye!"

"Ya! Momo!"

"You loved to make fun of her."Sana pinched her cheek

"But can I actually attend the party, though?"

"Of course, Tzuyu and. . .

"Hmm?"

"I have something I want to tell you."

"Like right now?"

"Later."

"Give me a hint, please."

"Nah."

"Please?"

"Just later, okay?"

Tzuyu pouted,

"Fine, then."

-

"Are you really sure that you want to leave?"

"Would you, Sana, at least consider Tzuyu's feelings?

"Jihyo—

"No, Mina. She's hurting Tzuyu too much, and all she's doing is thinking about herself."

"You don't know what my grandmother can do once I disobeyed her order. I don't want to ruin Tzuyu's life because of me. I am aware that today should have been a happy celebration for us. I'm sorry I ruined it."

"Sana! Hey! W-why are you crying?"Tzuyu arrived as she gazed at Jihyo, Mina, and Jeongyeon, asking for answers

"Nothing, Tzuyu. I just feel exhausted."Sana hugged her

"Happy tears, Tzu."she felt a tap on her back from Jeongyeon

"We'll just hang around, enjoy the party guys."Mina stated as she accompanied Jihyo

"Tzuyu, do you still recall what I told you earlier?"

"Could you please say it later on?"

"Tzuyu, I—

"I-I'm not yet prepared."

"What do you mean?"

"Sana, is it possible for me to change your mind?"

Sana sighed and peered out the window of the building.

Was it the impending rain that made the night feel chilly now, or was it the circumstance she was in at the time now?

"Tzuyu—

"I beg you, don't go."

"H-how did you find out?"

"It doesn't matter how, Sana. Just don't leave."

"I-I'm very sorry, Tzuyu. I just. . . c-can't. I've got t-to get out of here, perhaps t-tomorrow or right now."

Tzuyu brushed her thumb to her lips.

"A-are you sure?"Tzuyu looks Sana in the eye
"E-even if I wait? I've been waiting ever since, and you know me. If you'll simply let me love you unconditionally, maybe I can convince you to change your mind."she stated

Sana firmly shakes her head and gives the latter a painful smile.

"I c-can't treat you like that, Tzuyu. You deserve to be loved without having to beg for it."

Tzuyu reached out and grabbed Sana's hand after moving a little closer.

"Please give me a chance, Sana. I-I can't make myself fall in love with anyone else if it is not you."

"Tzuyu. . ."

"Please?"

"I'm sorry."

"Do you truly love me?"

"Of course, Tzuyu. We just can't work together or be together. I'm sorry."

The excruciating feeling of falling in love with a person you will never be with.

For a number of reasons, people who are in love often cannot be together. Whether we will get the strength to stand out for that love is up to us.

She tries her best to make adjustments, but sometimes things just doesn't sit right with the two of them.

"Despite the fact that we can't be together, I still love you,"

"I'm sorry, but I have to chose my family."

Tzuyu nods in understanding, cupping her cheeks.

"Just always remember that I love you and I always will."a tear rolled down Sana's cheek

Sana was aware that it was for the best that she let her go.

Family over love.
