Tripti
Udaipur, Rajasthan
"AHH, YOU*** HOW DARE YO-!", all my screaming, pleading, running, were in vain. In the end he would always win. I had been trying to remove the ring from my finger since forever but it didn't bulge.
Maybe soap or oil would do...
He drops me in a room and then speaks, "your dress is kept on the bed, change and be ready in ten"
Does he really think I am going to obey him?
"Or else I would be obliged to dress you up... Myself", he adds making me shiver.
I step inside and slam the door shut on his face. And stomp towards the bed, it was a yellow lehenga. I take a brief look at it and then get to the door.
But my hopes vanish when it doesn't open. Great! Just great!!
Hey Shiv ji please help!
After ten minutes I watch as the door opens and Rudra, dressed in a yellow kurta enter. I hadn't changed. Why would I?
He smirks after looking at me then approaches the bed and takes hold of the dress and come closer to me. I shift from my place and look at the ground thinking of my next move.
Kicking him there... Is still an option.
And when he's just in front of me I raise my leg and he Dodges it just as quickly. I let out a frustrating breath and he cages me between the wall and himself.
"Are you that desperate for my hands on you that you couldn't even wait till our wedding night?", He says and I give him a disgusting look.
I've lost the count of flaws he has, probably hundred or so.
"Ahh! You- Leave me!!", I shout at his face.
He grabs my neck and warns," Do not test my patience".
"Wear this in five minutes or I swear!", He throws the lehenga at me and storms out.
I won't let him just walk over me!! I kick the cupboard with my feet and flinch when in starts hurting. Nonetheless I change into the lehenga and the necklace he had kept beside it. All this is screaming " expensive" and I don't have any idea why he's doing all this.
Maybe I'll win his trust and then runaway.
He steps inside just after I put on the lehenga.
"Let's go", he says while keeping his eyes fixed on me and he grabs my hand and we leave.
I knew we were dressed for haldi ceremony, it doesn't take a fool to guess but what surprised me was that there was absolutely no one present there.
