It's been 2 months since I've seen Scarlett but we've been texting each other non-stop. Clingy but we're in the talking phase, so fuck it. It's a Friday morning, and I've already done my morning routine from going to the gym to dropping off Elena at school. I'm currently packing ahead, we plan on a mini family trip today to the Monterey bay aquarium. Nicole said she will be here at 1400 with Elena. So after packing, I'm going to get groceries since I'm running low. As I finish, I quickly check the weather, sunny. After arriving at the grocery store, I began the fun. I love this part of adulthood, I can't explain it. Greens First: Carrots, Broccoli, onions, lots of garlic, mis chiles, green tomatoes since I HATE red tomatoes, ending with some limes. Fruits: Strawberries, green grapes, blueberries, oranges, pina, and some kiwis. Cereals, snacks, and juices for Lena. Turkey smoked ham, white bread, and almond milk. I plan to make homemade pizza tomorrow. Suggested by Elena. So I got to, then I'm ready to check out. After checking out and getting everything in the car, I walk to leave a cart as I hear a kid. "LOOK, DAD! It's a R34 in the flesh." They're about 11 years old dragging their dad. So I walk back to my car "You know, I can show you the inside if you ask your dad." I slightly yell. "Dad, Can I?" they asked, smiling the sun out of their face. "Yeah, of course." I hear the dad agrees. 'Thank you' They mouthed, I just nodded. "Come on." "What's your name?" I asked. "Samantha" "Well, Samantha, do you want to rev it?" I just see their eyes widen, as they nodded. "Ok, let me turn on the engine." Key in the ignition, neutral, clutch. On. The E-brake is on as they rev it a couple of times. After that cute interaction, I waved at them as I pass the store's entrance.
1358 was the time when I finished putting the groceries away. I hear the door open as I sat down "MAMA!" Lena runs and falls on top of me. "Hi mija, How was school?" "It was so cool, we painted today. Boring for a bit but it was ok." She says. Ever since she started talking, I've been teaching her. Making her 2 years ahead of the normal 5-year-old. "I'm so proud of you, you know that right." "Yes, mama." Her heart melts. "Ok let's get you ready, Lena." Nicole says. We left my apartment around 1432. Thankful Nicole's driving, so I get to enjoy the ride. We get there at 1641. We enter after paying our entrance fee. "Mama, Can we go to the jellyfish area first?" Elena politely asks. "Look, auntie. They're so pretty and calm to look at." Elena says as entering the area. (a/n: I've realized that I got Elena's age wrong. Originally, I was thinking of Elena being in 2nd or 3rd grade, forgetting about her age. It's too late to change it so bare with me. My bad.)
"Auntie, I need to use the bathroom." Lena says while we left the sea otters' area."I got her, don't worry" Nicole says, comforting me. I can't go in Women's bathroom since of my appearance and past experiences. So every time Elena and I are alone and she needs to use the bathroom I search for a family bathroom to avoid any incidents. During they're in the bathroom, I decided to text Scar.
Me: Hey, How was your meeting with your lawyer? Have you eaten anything yet?
From 'BEANS': Hiii, I got good news. We got a signature from Colin but I have to go to court about the charges. That's in 2 weeks. Yes, I had pasta Alfredo and a salad. And yes, I'm hydrated. What about you? How's the aquarium treated you?
Me: Do you want me to be there? I mean I can book a flight. Ohh that sounds soooo good. I'm proud of you, bubba. We had clam chowder since it's freezing now. I think I should bring you here, just you and I. It's so relaxing.
