(Y/n) pov
Addison apartment the home of ghost and cult members. I never knew about them until a certain boy moved in. I was an outgoing and talkative girl. I never saw the dangers or red flags of people. I always tried to see the best in people. Of course there were a few like Travis where I knew to stay away. Especially since he used to bully me for my appearance. You see I have two different colored eyes one is (e/c) and the other is red. But I could never stay away from Sal. He means everything to me. I still remember like it was yesterday when I first met him.
I was infront of Addison apartment feeding some homeless puppies. "I wish I could keep you guys." I said petting one of them. They yapped and ran away. I looked around and saw the moving truck. 'Oh a new tenet I'm surprised. Especially after what happened last night. Poor Mrs Sanderson.' "E-excuse me?" My head perked up after hearing a small voice. Turning I saw a boy my age with pigtails. His hair was blue and he had a mask no wait that's a prosthetic. "Oh hi you must be the new tenet moving in!" I smiled at him. He nodded. "Ya I'm in room 402." I gasped. "No way that's next to my room. I'm room 404." I giggled.
"Uhm Larry said I'd meet you here. Something about feeding homeless animals." I chuckled softly. "I'm assuming Lisa told you to go to Larry. She's the nicest person you'll ever meet. But yeah I was feeding a few homeless puppies and sometimes cats." He seemed to tense up at the word puppies but I didn't mention it. "Oh I'm sorry where are my manners. I'm (Y/n)." He chuckled while rubbing the back of his head. "No it's ok I'm sal or sally face." I tilted my head at that. "Sally face?" He was about to say something but I interrupted. "How cute." I chuckled surprising him.
"Th-thanks uhm Larry kinda sent me here to get you. I can see why you two are friends. Nice sanity falls shirt." I put my hands together infront of me smiling. "Oh thanks and how lazy of Larry couldn't come up here with you at least." Sal shook his head laughing a bit. "No it's fine really." We started to walk to the elevator when I heard a small purr. "Oh mrs midnight!" (Yes I'm a Fran bow fan) It was a cat as dark as the night sky. Poor girl. I found her bruised and beaten when I found her. Mom doesn't allow pets so I couldn't keep her but she always came back to me. I picked her up and placed her at her own personal food and water bowl. She meowed and started to eat.
"Wow animals sure love you." I giggled at sal. "Well no one deserves to be abandon." We got into the elevator and went to the basement. "Where'd you move from?" I looked at sal. "Jersey. It wasn't the best there because of this." He touched his mask. "Well fuck Jersey. We'll give you all the love even if your a little different." I noticed his eyes were wide. He chuckled slightly. "Thanks but don't you think this is weird." I shook my head immediately. "Nope not at all. It might just be a little hard to see your emotions but other then that your fine." He scratched his head. "Well I really like your eyes." I gently smiled. "Thank you some people don't really like them."
The elevator opened and we walked to Larry's room already hearing the music. "Love this dude but he's always overboard with music." Larry was jamming out to the song and noticed us. "(Y/n) nice to see you with our newcomer sal." I nodded smiling. "Great pick I love him already." Larry chuckled. "Sick! Anyways me and sal are going to investigate what happened last night." My eyes widened. "You can't think that charley could've done it." Larry sighed.
"I told you I'm sure of it. I saw him do it. Plus he's a creep to you after you complemented those stupid ponies." I shook my head nervously. "N-no he's just being nice" Larry facepalmed. "He literally said you have a nice ass." I could see Sal freeze. "Ok fine. But how are we supposed to prove it?" Larry thought but sal spoke first. "Is that a police scanner?" Larry nodded. "This dummy always gets himself in trouble." I rolled my eyes.
"Ya whatever mom." I gave him an offended look that both him and Sal laughed at. "I think I have an idea." Sal turned to us. "If Larry calls about something dangerous happening around here the police will leave and we can go in." My eyes widened. "Nice idea." Larry spoke. "Your very smart though you kinda already gave off that vibe." He mumbled a thanks and I could tell he was flustered by the compliments.
"Ok so I'll call and you two go in." We nodded. "Here." He tossed sal a walkie talkie. "I'll let you know with that." We nodded and left to the elevator. "So just hide in your room for now." Larry said over the walkie talkie. "Well now your like us. I have a walkie talkie like that." Sal made eye contact with me. "He gave you one too?" I nodded. "Years ago. I think it's cause he's too lazy to leave the basement." Sal chuckled. We made it to his room and I admired it though it wasn't completely done.
"I like the posters." Sal had just finished talking to Larry. "Thanks I enjoy horror and rock." I squealed in excitement. "Finally I have someone to watch movies with!" He looked at me shocked. "You like horror movies." I grinned. "Yup there probably the only movies I watch. Have a collection at home. Larry is boring to watch with. He either sleeps or is shaking like a scared kitten." Sal laughed.
I heard a meow and saw a cat on the bed. "Ooh who's this?" I put my hand out for the cat to smell. "Oh that's gizmo." Gizmo went on his back and I gave him a belly rub. "He seems to like you a lot. Guess you just have that touch with animals." I chuckled. "I heard some shuffling so you should be good." Larry said through the walkie talkie. We walked out of sals apartment.
"Can't believe I'm gonna see a murder scene." Sal opened the door and all I saw was red. "What a mess." Sal spoke. We started to look around and I made sure not to mess with anything. "Look at this." Sal said getting my attention. It was a stool that looked like something was on it. "Oh that's what Mrs Sanderson would put that one pony she had just got. She had bragged to me about how rare it was but it's not here. Her and charley used to go nuts about them." I spoke. Larry piped in on the radio. "Do you think he'd have it?" Sal answered. "Let's find out."
I stopped them both. "But how can we get it if he's still in the room he rarely leaves his living room." Sal started to think. "Oh he's obsessed with Mr Addison's tea maybe we could do something with it." I exhaled. "Maybe we could put a pill that makes him leave." My eyes widened then I grinned. "Can you get me the tea and meet me in my apartment please." Sal nodded. He went to the elevator and I went to my apartment straight to the bathroom.
Mom wasn't home so I should be fine. If she doesn't find out I used her pills. Within 5 min Sal was there. "Here my mom has laxatives." Sal gave me a questionable look. "Don't ask. Even I don't know what they're there for." He nodded and I put two pills in. "That should do it." We went to charleys room. "Oh hey Sal. (Y/n). What can I do for you?" He gave us his weird smile. "Oh we just wanted to see if you wanted some of mr Addisons tea?" I spoke. "Oh how I love that tea but sadly mr Addison cut me off for the day. As much as I'd like it I think it's for the best if I don't." Charley sighed.
"Uhm it's a new recipe that mr Addison is trying." Sal said making charley get excited. "New recipe?" He sounded a bit excited. I played along and nodded. "Yeah some of the adults were saying it's better then the original." He motioned for Sal to give it to him and he chugged it down with a few seconds. "It does taste a little- oh- ow- that tea-isn't-sitting well." He rushed to the bathroom. "Ok we have some time now." I said.
I started looking for anything suspicious with any of the ponies but Sal beat me to it. "This one has blood stains." I saw a purple glitter one and sure enough it had a few red stains. "We have our evidence now we can leave." We rushed out and reported it. By the end of the day charley was arrested and it was thought that we were saved.
