Moves and jumps took bodies to the dance floor, calling the Super to join them. The wide space welcomed the Bachelor of Arts in Marketing of National City University with LEDs, chandeliers, and plants. Celebrating was the least after so much effort to book the celebration room. When Lena told her "You will get it", Kara didn't expect a half later she received a confirmation call! Certainly Lena had friends working there, or maybe she bought this. Kara didn't know. Lena's stuff where everywhere.

"No, I can't. How is it possible you're Supergirl? I couldn't believe  Cat Grant's interview, and to think back Belinda used to bully you in the High School." Zoe laughed loudly. Kara gave her a sour grin and sipped her beer.

The Zee family and its facility to remember the past.

Midvale High School was not so good, plus better than her junior school. Belinda always wanted to surprise Kara with anything. To Belinda's misfortune, Kara ever got first grade in Math and Sciences, worsening a rivalry coming out of nowhere on Belinda's part. Kara's High School was Hell, and years later Kara met Belinda's cousin, Zoe. The world was very small.

"Aren't you sad 'cause she beat you in Street Kombat 6, do you?" Kara turned her orbs at Zoe's comment.

"Why would Supergirl care about something as silly as this? She's the symbol of hope, and there's nothing hopeful about being glued to a memory of a spoiled-prejudiced little girl." Megan shaded Zoe, turning hard to Kara don't laugh. Zoe showed an acid-toothy smile and turned her back to Megan. "Alas, you haven't changed anything. Anyway, how are you feeling to fit in with everyone again?" Megan addressed to Kara. "Lively? Scared? If you lie I'll kick you ass."

Kara let out a bright chuckle, "It's weird being here, but I'm fine." A vibration was born on Kara's hand and she looked down. After checking the message, her brightness was lost. "What's up?" The blue orbs returned to Megan, meeting the quizzical look. "Hum, anything. It's me who has never been away from home for this long, so I'm worried something will happen."

"Like what, vampire thieves? Who would be crazy to lose sleep just waiting for you to get back to Argo Street? We're at a party, Kara, try to have fun." Megan gently pushed the blonde's shoulders and Kara raised her lips. Megan was right. It's crazy to think something could happen. It was only one day off. Her city was safe, what worse could happen?

Long meters away in an apartment in Hammersmith Tower, a raven woman watched the hours on her cell phone's screen fixedly. Another minute passed. She blocked the screen. Lena rolled her eyes and faced the dark room, letting out a long sigh. There was no noise or commotion. The television lights didn't even mask the desert apartment, but there was nothing to be done. Without Kara Danvers, the place simply wasn't alive.

Lena sighed again.

"Still awake?" The redhead approached with eyes almost completely closed, guiding Sam and Kelly behind. From Lena's perspective, Sam invented a new zigzag hairstyle, and Kelly's pink eye patch covered every part of her face but her eyes. She felt next to mummies and zombies than friends, but kept silent. Luckily it doesn't exist, or else Lena'd be first to join her precious impenetrable lab and forgive she had friends tonight. "Stop it, Lena. Kara'll be back later, here is her home. Esme and Ruby are already asleep after watching Game of Thrones and I don't feel like watching Funny Face tonight, Working Girl was enough."

"Alex!" Kelly elbowed her wife, "Don't be rude. Lena has been watching things to distract herself from Kara." Kelly didn't need to open her eyes to see what kind of expression Lena was wearing, which made the CEO feel worse. Was she so obvious?

"Distract how? Watching Kara's favorite things? If she keeps this up we can all walk out of here being comedians and music majors, and I don't know about you, but I've spent more than half my life watching Homeland, Orphan Black and The Wire, and I don't want my life to be some weird Wizard of Oz universe."
