"Seems like neither of you needed that cookie really." Evie leaned over to her fellow VK commenting still looking at the game but taking a glance back at him she saw his face turn to a blushing mess making her want to squeal of joy.
"Don't even think about it, Eve." Greyson gave her a pointed look knowing her well enough to know she wanted nothing more but to point out the state of his face.
Evie tried her best to keep her squeal but she didn't hesitate to pull her friend into a quick hug luckily with the cheers of the school their interaction wasn't noticed by anyone.
With the game nearing to the end the anticipation grew and the coach knew they needed their best player out there on the field so he called one of his players out as he turned to Jay calling him in but it seemed as if Jay had another idea.
"Coach, how about my buddy here?" Jay stood up from his seat pulling Carlos up with him catching him by surprise which caught the attention of the best friend duo that sat on the benches near them.
"Oh, no." Carlos immediately disagreed, sitting back down wondering what had gotten inside his best friend's mind to even come up with that thought.
"Not so sure about that." Coach Jenkins glanced over to the DeVil teenager with a wary expression not knowing if he could get them the points they needed.
"Coach, he's been practicing." Jay didn't back down as he pulled his best friend back up by his side knowing that he had the potential.
"And as the odds seemed against him Carlos DeVil had shown everyone what he was capable of." Aiden wrote down in his notes reading it out to himself which caught the attention of Savannah and Dude.
"Speaking it to existence, I love that." Savannah grinned over to her dark haired best friend looking down at the notes seeing that he too knew that Carlos could surprise everyone there.
After sharing a high five with one another Dude barked in excitement seeing Carlos walk to the field practically being pulled by Jay. Hearing him bark and the cheers of the crowd get louder caught Savannah's attention, having the girl turn to the duo quickly grabbing her camera, snapping a couple pictures of them.
"You go Jay and Carlos!" Greyson shouted from the top of his lungs seeing his two best friends going onto the field having Mal and Evie join his cheers seeing their friends were getting a chance on showing their skills.
With the team breaking their huddle the game went on and the players went off giving it their all Carlos had surprised everyone and himself after blocking the opposing player from getting the ball. Looking over to him as he danced in victory for a second Savannah couldn't help herself and smiled over to him seeing how happy he was.
Dude beside her feet felt a tickle on his tail, having him turn noticing a shimmer started to appear on Savannah's shoe which had him nudging on the princess' shoes knowing she didn't want people to see that.
Savannah felt the nudge looking down in confusion but once she realized why Dude was nudging her she leaned down immediately scratching his back thanking him from saving her some questioning looks before she got back to the game.
On the field Jay had been shocking everyone on his team and in his school as he brushed through the kill zone without breaking a sweat then surprised them even more as he played with his team giving them all a chance to join in on the game wanting to work as a team instead of going solo.
Unfortunately they had missed that score but the team didn't quit there they rushed back to their side as the ball was tossed once again letting the game play on with twenty three seconds left.
Savannah did her best to capture everything she could in pictures, every pass the team back to each other and every block they had done but it was almost becoming too difficult with how fast everything had come out.
Catching the ball Jay rushed on the field trying to find anyone open he almost got knocked off a couple of times luckily for him Chad and Richard had blocked those players from catching up to him.
Seeing his coast was clear Jay tossed the ball towards Ben rushing over to Carlos seeing him stuck in the Kill Zone but he quickly got them out of there. As they got out Jay grabbed the ball rushing to get their score. 
Feeling more confidence Carlos called out for his friend seeing the opposing players running up behind him once the ball was tossed to him Carlos hit it up letting it go into the air for a second while he leaned down allowing Jay to jump over him trying to catch the ball luckily Savannah was able to capture the moment.
After catching the ball Jay felt Ben beside him so he passed the ball to him allowing the future king to toss the ball into the goal just as the timer went off signaling their win.
A roar of cheers traveled through Auradon Prep finally having a win for their school as the team celebrated in victory.
Savannah and Aiden turned to one another bringing each other into an embrace feeling the excitement bubble in them.
"Prince Ben, he won it! What an unselfish play by Jay! What a team! Incredible! And it's the new guys, Jay and Carlos, who set up the prince for the winner. What a victory!" The announcer summed it up yet his voice was practically drowned by the cheers of everyone. "An absolutely wonderful end to one of the best games ever! Here they come, folks. The winner of the first-"
"Excuse me! Can I have your attention, please?" Ben took the mic from the announcer catching the attention from everyone having the cheers tone down as everyone turned to him wondering what he had to say.
"What is he doing?" Savannah whispered over to Aiden wondering what their best friend was doing knowing he was never one to suddenly take something like he had just done.
"I don't know." Aiden answered, staring over to Ben with furrowed eyebrows seeing the joy that was practically bursting out of him as the Beast prince stepped up to the stand.
"There's something I'd like to say." Ben looked around trying to figure out his next move before looking over to his best friends who stared at him in confusion but looking behind him his eyes caught a certain purple haired VK giving him the push he needed.
"This is not happening." Aiden's eyes doubled in size understanding now what the future king was up to but that wasn't that worried him it was the fact Ben rushed to his best friends pulling them to where he was getting back in his place.
"Give me an "M"!"
"Oh yes it is." Savannah nodded anxiously, feeling all eyes staring at the three of them, especially the eyes of a specific VK, those eyes that started raising the blood to her cheeks. "I'm going to punch him."
"I'll join you."
