This took him by surprise. Surprisingly, this past month he's been okay with not talking to her. He fully completed his outpatient rehab program, been there for his daughter even started getting her more than usual, making more art, making more music, he sat down with his mother and had a one on one about stuff from their past they experienced together and just connecting with himself more.

So to hear she's been going through it was a different change of pace and made him feel nothing but sorry for her.

Nadia ended up unblocking him a while ago but he took it upon himself to mute her Instagram just so he can not see her and continue on himself.

"I'm sorry...and I know sorry isn't enough but that's the most I can say right now. I don't like seeing you down like this and just by how you are right now, I could just imagine how your father is." He grabbed her shoulders feeling how tense she was and let out a sigh.

Chris grabbed her to lay back down next to him, letting his chest rest against her back.

It was going on 3 in the morning so he figured they just get some sleep and finish talking in the morning.

"Damn...this is wild." Keeis commented and I nodded my head sighing. I informed him and Lo on Nadia coming over last night and what she told me about her family situation right now.

"Is this it, though? Is this her coming back to you or just her coming to someone she sees as comfort?" Lo asked and I shrugged not actually knowing the answer. I'm more than happy with being there for her the way she needs me to during this time, but I also don't want to be just a shoulder to cry on for her.

But I know we all needed someone at the end of the day.

"I'm not gonna ask her though. I'll let her tell me herself what she is feeling. I'mma just focus on making sure she straight and shit emotionally. But if this is her coming back then I'll be more than happy to be her peace, her man, her best friend - all that." I expressed and they nodded they heads understandingly.

Neither of us said anything as we could all hear the sound of her making her way to my kitchen. Nadia walked in, eyes puffy, bags under her eyes, and just looked down.

I hated seeing my baby likes this. It made me wish I could take this pain from her.

"What's good, Nadi? I'm sorry, man." Keeis walked around the counter and gave her a tight hug which she returned and thanked him lightly.

Lo did the same and they both decided to dip leaving just me and her alone. I'm sure Keeis was going to check up on her sister.
