2:30 AM*A Month and a Half Later*
Chris stumbled his way down his stairs trying his best to not fall while rubbing the sleep out his eyes as best as possible. The TV in the living room was on, displaying The Golden Girls on a low volume where Keeis and Lo laid knocked out on his couch with Hades in between them.
He shook his head while dragging his feet to his door and opened it letting Nadia inside.
"What's up?" He whispered to her and she didn't say anything but wrapped her arms around his neck taken him back before he hugged her back, confused.
She called him about an hour ago waking him up out his sleep asking if she could come over and of course, he didn't mind it and told her no problem but he had took his melatonin gummies to help sleep which made him fall back to sleep only to be woken up a half hour later to his phone ring and her telling him she was outside.
"You good?" His hands moved under her shirt and rubbed her back soothingly while they stayed in their hug before she pulled away sniffling. "Baby, what's up? What's wrong?"
Nadia looked at him then at his friends om his couch and he noticed grabbing her hand in his and pulled her upstairs gently to his room, locking the door behind him.
She took her UGGs slides off along with her jacket while he went into his closet and pulled out a random shirt walking back into his room handing it to her and she thanked him getting undressing herself, sliding his shirt on and Chris picked up her clothes folding them for her and placing them on the chair in his room.
He crawled back into his bed and under the covers and she did the same laying down next to him still sniffling while doing so which concerned him since he now noticed she's been crying.
For them to go an entire month and almost two without speaking and not seeing each other at all, this was a weird way to start back up now.
"What's wrong? Why you been crying?" He furrowed his eyebrows get worried. Last thing he ever liked to see was her crying or even the slightest bit of upset.
Chris raised his hand and wiped the few tears falling down from her eyes.
"I really just need you to be here as my comfort person right now,"
"I got you. What's wrong?" He wrapped his tattooed arm around her waist pulling her closer to his body, rubbing circles on her back soothingly.
"...My grandfather just passed," Chris sat up in shock and looked at her feeling a bit of a sting hit his heart.
"Wait, what?!"
"He passed literally a few hours ago. My father called me right away and he was there with him in the hospital,"
"Hospital? I thought he was good," Chris questioned. Last thing he heard about Lance was that he was fine and getting released from the hospital.
"He was...He got put in the hospital because of a chest problem, I don't know what exactly caused it but they think it had something to do with him when he got shot- I don't know but he's gone, Chris." Nadia started crying again after finally calming herself down before coming over and he sighed bringing her closer wrapping his arms around her completely comfortingly.
"I'm sorry, baby. I'm so sorry." He placed a few kisses on her forehead.
"That's not even it. We found out earlier this week, my mom is filing for a divorce," Nadia sat up wiping her tears that kept falling nonstop. "So on top of losing his father, he's losing his wife as well. I mean Chris she didn't even try. They did a few sessions with our therapist and she didn't even hear what my dad had to say I was told. She's acting like he's the one that cheated on her with her best friend and had a baby."
