I heard a knock on the door and before I answered I tried to slow down my breath a bit.
"Come in!" I shouted. Sophie walked into the room.
"The new neighbours are here, they brought dessert and they're staying for dinner so come on you two, when I say you two I'm hoping that Mason is free to stay?" She asked.
"Yep I'm free today." He got up off the bed and pulled me up too and we went downstairs to meet the new neighbours. 
When we got down, me and Mason were both surprised to see Sebastian!? I mean I should've guessed, he did say that he just moved here. 
"Oh, Mason, Julianna! It's nice to see you both." He turned back to his parents and said something in Spanish. "Oh yo y ellos vamos a la misma escuela. Gloria, por favor por un día, ¡cuelga ese teléfono!" (Oh me and them go to the same school. Gloria, please for one day, get off that phone!) The way he spoke...that shit really does shit to peopleeee. "My parents are fluent in English by the way, I'm just used to speaking in Spanish still." He said showing his pretty smile. He could be a supermodel. 
"Nice to meet you both, are you siblings?" Sebastian let out a laugh at his mom's question, his dad whispered something in his ear which made him shut up.
"No, he's my boyfriend. It's nice to meet you both Mrs..."
"Flores. You can call me Rosalia though sweetie. That is my husband, Diego, that's my daughter Gloria and my son, Sebastian."
The whole entire family was just fucking attractive. Like damn those good genes.
"I hope you guys enjoy this place, it has a lot to offer. Also my sister, Blair can't join us today she's busy."
"Do you or your sister cheer?" Gloria asked and I nodded. "That's so cool, you're probably like super popular right? I'm gonna become a cheerleader soon, can you teach me some moves please?" Gloria said in excitement.
"Of course, me and my sister both do cheer, my sister can teach you she's captain."
"Excuse her behaviour, she's joining high school soon and she's really really excited to cheer." Mrs Rosalia said.
"It's fine, you can talk to her when she's back."

We were at the dinner table eating food and also getting to know the neighbours more. Of course, I was next to Mason with Sebastian facing me. However, the family's nice. Gloria is 14 and is gonna become a freshman soon enough and she's also quite chatty and addicted to her phone. She's always been sporty so that's why she wants to check out cheerleading. Sebastian, oh dear Sebastian, he volunteers at a veterinary clinic once a week and wants to become a doctor or veterinarian when he's older. He's quite smart and also is a bit of an artist.  His parents are both lawyers and moved here because of a new job opportunity. 
Throughout the whole dinner, Mason noticed Sebastian creeping glances at me and it was very clear that he was still jealous of him. 
"So Mason, you've barely talked all night, I wanna get to know you more." Sebastian said.
"Well, we have one thing in common I'm an artist too. I also think I'm a pretty good cook and I volunteer at a retirement home twice a week, it's really nice helping the people there they are honestly the sweetest. I wanna become maybe an engineer when I'm older." I looked at Mason knowing that the engineering part was a lie. He didn't want to become an engineer, he wanted to move away to a big city like New York or something and become a chef. He told me this a few times before and I don't know why he'd lie about that.
"An engineer, how interesting." Mr Diego said. "That was my first dream but something or rather someone changed my mind." He said looking towards his wife. I grabbed a hold onto Mason's hand to really just tell him that he doesn't need to change himself for some guy.
"So how'd you two meet them?" Mrs Rosalia asked me and Mason.
"We met at school, he was the new guy and in a way him coming to the school kinda saved me a bit." From my toxic ass relationship with my ex at least. "He's a really good guy, he treats me good."
"That's always good to have, a guy who's gonna treat you good, give you everything you need and want." Sebastian asked.
"Julianna, could you show me where your bathroom is?" Gloria asked. I nodded sensing that she wanted to talk to me instead of using the toilet. 
We walked into another room and she sighed. 
"My brother likes you. That bastard likes you. You're gorg yes but ese idiota problemático. You have a whole boyfriend and he's trying to make moves like that's low. I'm sorry about him, honestly just ignore him though. He'll get over his crush soon, you and Mason are really cute though let me just say." Gloria said. (Idiota problemático = problematic idiot)
"Thanks for that Gloria. I will make sure he gets the signs but I'm a bit surprised that you aren't rooting for his happiness."
"I am but like why does he want a girl in a whole ass relationship?"
"That's true." I agreed.
"Now let's go before my parents start to think I left." She smiled grabbing my hand back into the dinner.
