Lunch break was sooner than Sana expected. She grabbed her bag from the desk and walked to the canteen ignoring Tzuyu's questioning looks.

"I can't do this," Tzuyu spoke, 1 bite in of her hamburger.

Sana didn't reply.

Tzuyu slid her tray away from her making Sana finally look at her. "What's wrong?"

Sana sighed. "Don't say nothing. I have known you since highschool. I know when something's wrong."

Sana grumbled as bit off a fry roughly. "Is everything ever right?"

Tzuyu silently watched Sana dig through her bag. "Here," She handed her phone to Tzuyu. "Check my messages."

Tzuyu frowned as she swiped and put in the passcode. Yes, they knew each others passwords.

She raised a brow at what she saw. "Taehyung sunbae messaged you last night?" She asked.

Sana rolled her eyes. "I wish he hadn't. That jerk."

Tzuyu tapped on their chat. Surely he had said something harsh for Sana to be that mad. In any other case, the blonde would surely have been over the moon about him texting her.

She gulped as she closed the chat. Why was he telling Sana about how much he loved Jin Ah? She passed the phone back to Sana who raised her brows at her. "What do you think?"

Tzuyu sipped her coke, "I have only got one explanation. He doesn't have your number saved." She paused to see Sana's reaction. The girl nodded, urging her to continue. She cleared her throat. "After the breakup with [redacted], he probably deleted her number. And ended up calling you."

Sana nodded. "I figured. But doesn't he remember her number?"

Tzuyu shrugged, "He may be bad with numbers, I am too. Maybe he was drunk?"

Sana lowered her gaze. The way he was slurring last night gave it away. Maybe she was being impractical by expecting him to remember Jin Ah's number even while being drunk. But was she to blame? Apparently, he loved her.

"So this is why you have been upset the entire morning?" Tzuyu questioned.

Sana's thoughts drifted to the morning. It was rare for Taehyung to acknowledge her in university, and on top of that, listen to her. Sana didn't understand why he did what he did but she was thankful.

She shrugged. "I am upset. Him not liking me is one thing but not even having my number saved?" She huffed. "That's too much. It's not even like I bother him. I have never messaged him."

Tzuyu raised a brow, "Never?"

Sana rolled her eyes, "Just birthday messages, which he by the way, never wished back, and some memes."

Tzuyu's mouth fell open in surprise. She knew her friend liked the guy but was she really that desperate? Sending him memes? She knew Sana wasn't a fool to spam but even sparing him a glance after he hadn't wished you for your birthday, like this wasn't a hard thing to do, was it? Not a big deal either. So it baffled Tzuyu why Taehyung would treat Sana like that. Birthday wishes are such a trivial thing. . Sana would be happy with it, but Taehyung didn't know she liked him so there was no reason to not send her one when she diligently, never missed any on his birthdays and even got him a present for his last one.

"You're crazy." She muttered in disbelief. "If I were you, I wouldn't give him the time of the day." She said.

Sana laughed. "That's why it's weird why he covered for me this morning."

"What do you mean?"

"You know I was bunking the morning class at the bleachers," Tzuyu nodded. "Well yeah out of nowhere those three came."

"Those three?" Tzuyu pointed to her right. Sana followed her gaze and spotted Taehyung, Jungkook and Jimin standing there. It seemed like they had just arrived.

Sana watched Taehyung check out the menu with Jimin. Her gaze fell on her brother who coincidentally glanced at her just then. He waved at her before his gaze moved behind her.

When Sana turned around, Tzuyu was already looking at her. "Yeah, those three." She mumbled.

"So, I don't know how he spotted me --"

"What do you mean how he spotted you?" Tzuyu cut her off. "Should it be hard? I mean, pretty sure you four were the only people there and he sees you every day, Sana." Tzuyu deadpanned making Sana smack her arm.

She winced. "What? You complicate things."

Sana clicked her tongue. "Moving on, he saw me and came to ask what I was doing there and if I were skipping class and all that. We kinda bickered? I am not sure. Anyway, I was afraid Jungkook would see me so I quickly sent him away and requested him to not tell Jungkook. I am just surprised he listened." She shrugged towards the end, clearly playing it cool.

Tzuyu rolled her eyes. "I don't get why you're so afraid of your brother. You're 20, not 10. You can skip classes from time to time."

"I am not afraid of him." Sana replied.

"Then what? Are you afraid of disappointing him?"

Sana stayed quiet.

Tzuyu laughed. "Skipping classes is no big deal. Imagine his reaction when he gets to know you're the reason his bestfriend is so miserable right now."

Sana glared at her. "Me getting rid of the bracelet wouldn't make Jin Ah any less of a cheater." She shot back.

"Point taken." Tzuyu said. "But I think your 'Taehyung Oppa' would have liked to live in a lie a bit longer." She shrugged. "No matter how much I look, he doesn't seem to be taking the breakup well."

Sana put her arms on the table as she leaned forward. "You think so?"

"After the message yesterday, what is there to think about?" Tzuyu responded.

"He was drunk. Does he really seem miserable even when sober?"

"How would I know?"

Sana pursed her lips as she moved back. This was one of the moments she wanted to smack Tzuyu in the head. "I should know better than asking you." She said as she stood and slung her bag over her shoulder.

Tzuyu faked offense. "Excuse me?" She chased after Sana. "I didn't spend years offering you advice just to hear this!"
