"..So that he doesn't try anything. Yes." Luna said and Owen smiled. "Yeah, I can do that. I'll keep you updated on what happens here." Owen said and Luna nodded. "I will leave as soon as I tell Waylyn that something has happened back at home." She said and Owen nodded. "I will leave you alone for now, Helian is coming this way and I'll let you tell him what we are going to do so that he doesn't tear my head off." "He wouldn't do that..." Luna said with a laugh and then looked at Helian, he was coming towards them and his face said it all. Something had happened and Luna bit her lip and pushed her white blond hair out of her face and turned towards him.

Without warning Helian grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the ballroom, letting the doors slam behind him. "What are you doing?" Luna asked and when Helian didn't answer and just continued to pull her down the hall away from the music and her party she finally had enough and with a huff she planted her feet and her hand slipped out of his, making him have to stop and look at her.

"What were you and Owen talking about?" Helian asked folding his arms. "He asked if he could help us, we need more people on our side. You know that and Owen wants to help. He knows about our plan and says that he can keep an eye on the king, your father while we go and try and see if we can get others on our side. We need people if we are going to make a stand against Waylyn." Helian smiled. "Yes, we do, I will start making the arrangements." He said and Luna nodded. "It will be fine. We will become more and we will know what to do when the time is right." She said and Helian nodded and smiled at her. "Yes. Right now I need to get mother to write a letter so that I can give it to the king." She said and Helian nodded. "That will work, that way the letter has your mothers signature and father has nothing to be suspicious about."

Luna nodded. "That would be good. I will send mother a letter, telling her what is going on." "Are you sure that we will be able to trust her with the information that we have, and of what we are going to do... she won't do anything, go to anyone, will she?" Helian asked.

Luna shook her head. "Not if I tell her not to." She said and Helian nodded. "Send her a letter then." He said and with a smile she stepped closer to him and without thinking about it she hugged him. He was stiff for a moment and then wrapped his arms around her too. "You know that I care about you, right?" He said. Luna nodded and breathed in his scent for a moment. "We should get back." He said and Luna smiled. "We should, the party is still going on and father will be wondering what and where we have gotten to." He said and held out his arm to her which she took gladly. With everything that had been going on she was glad that the night was almost over. She would be glad for the night to be over and then she would be able to get away from the man that had cause her and Helian so much pain. Soon their plan would turn into action and they would rise up and do something great. This was a time for new beginnings and it would start with change. If not kill the king then just dethrone him.

Together they walked into the palace and Luna sighed. "What are you thinking about?" Helian asked, stopping for a moment and pulling her to a corner and looked at her. "I don't want you to get hurt, if things go south, let me take all of the blame." He said and Luna shook her head. "Not a chance, we started this together and if something goes wrong then we are going down together, we are friends after all."

"On another note, we have to get the note or letter to your mother as soon as possible, that way she can make up some response and send it back." He said and Luna nodded, brushing her hair out of her face, it was past her waist and she wondered if she should cut it just a little. It was a little out of hand. Helian was still looking at her and Luna smiled at him, grabbing his hand and pulling him to her rooms. "What are we doing?" he asked and Luna looked over her shoulder at him. "Might as well get the letter out of the way." She said quickly. He looked at her and then shook his head. "Alright, you know I can walk, right?" he said with a laugh that made her smile. "Maybe I want to drag you, that will make the servants curious about what we are going to do." She said with another grin. He shrugged and let himself be pulled down the hallway. "Lead on my fair lady." He said and that made Luna smile even wider.

"Come on, lets get this done." She said and together they went into her room. Once inside Luna let go of Helian's hand and went to the desk and got out pen and paper sitting at the desk she looked at him, he was now sitting on her bed and looking at her. "Are you ready?" Luna smiled. "Might as well get this over with, then we can go on with the plan." She said and took a piece of paper and a quill and started writing.

"Dearest Mother, this is Luna.

I hope that you are well, and everyone is doing well, there is something that I need you to do for me. I need to get away from the palace without causeing suspisoion and the onely way that I can see that happening is if you or someone has an illness. Everyone is too young to care for whoever is sick and so you need me home. I have somewhere that I need to go and I can't go without a family emergency. I know that you are confused and wondering what is more important then my service to the king and the crown and I wish that I could tell you in here, but I can't risk it being intercepted by someone on the inside. So please just trust me and send a letter in a day or two saying that you need me home.

Your loyal daughter Luna Rose Silva."

Luna let the letter dry and she was glad that she brought things from home, she had her own seal of her family's crest and when the letter was dry she folded it and slipped it into an envelope and folded the flap and took out silver and black wax and pushed the seal into it and then onto the crease where the envelope folded and waited for it to dry. She would give it to one of the maids to give to the king later that day. That way she would have time to pack everything that she would need and come up with something that her mother had.

When the letter was sealed she went and motioned to Helian to follow her to go and find someone to deliver it. They went out of the room and soon found Aryn reading a book. When she saw them she smiled. "What are you two up to?" she asked. "We finished the letter, could you get someone to deliver it? We don't want it to be traced back to us if father intercepts it." Helian explained and handed Aryn the letter. She nodded. "Yeah, I can do that, I'll go right now." With a smile she turned and stuffed the letter into her pocket and walked out of the palace and down to Luna's house. The plan was coming together and soon everyone would get what they wanted, the king to be dead or gone.

This letter was the start of something good and the start of a new life for everyone.
