Jisoo limps as she drags the unconscious body of the man she loves into a dark basement. She puts her hand over his head and connects thier foreheads "I never though I'd be doing this but it's for your safety" she says and leaves some snacks and water before leaving the dark, cold basement, making sure to turn on the heater on her way out.
With worry plastered on her face, she hesitantly closes the door, sparing one last glance at the sleeping Seokjin. If she could make herself fall out of love with him, she would. Her love is so powerful, it's started a war between her heart and her duties. She has no choice but to work with her brain now.
She drives to the empire of flames and makes her way to IU's office. "I did it. I killed him" she says, hiding her sadness with her 'work face'. "He was your friend, right? It wouldn't have been easy for you but the empire might have suffered if it hadn't been done." The older girl says noticing Jisoo's sadness.
"Duty comes first, isn't that what you taught us?" Jisoo asks lifting the dark atmosphere with an amused smile. IU smiles back "You're a pure soul Jisoo and you have my trust" Jisoo smiles brightly at her words but internally crys at the thought of lying to someone who trusts her. She couldn't be a lover nor a fighter, who is she anymore?
She leaves the office after a report and makes her way home. She sees the girls having fun baking cake together but they didn't bother to invite her over nor did they notice her. It's okay, she knows they care, she's not petty. She walks to her bedroom and curls into a ball on the bed. What could she have done?
Because of her own selfish love towards Seokjin, she couldn't fullfil her duty and kill him. Because of her duty, she couldn't let him go. She decided to protect him the best way she could. So she kept him safe until the war was war. Hoping he'll wake up and not curse at her for betraying him.
The day of the war...
IU or rather Lady Dragon, stands in front of her army, looking in the eyes of the leader of the approaching empire.
As Lee Jong Suk and his mafias arrive with confidence and the war regions over the island. (A/N- I have no idea what a 'mafia war' looks like so respect my insane imagination where I use kpop idols for an old fashioned war lmao-)
The sound of gunshots, minor bombs, screams of of pain, blades clashing echos through the ocean surrounding them.
Jiminie feels the water touch his hand as he looks at the ocean in delight. He looks back and sees the ocean of blood being made on land by the battle. He feels a hand on his shoulder and looks back to see the familiar face of Danielle, shes a part of a group under Jong Suk, New jeans. He hopes none of them lose thier lives today, they only became official mafias recently and have a long life left to love.
"Jiminie oppa, weren't you getting ready for your entry in the battle?" She asks, supporting with a smile. "You're right, let's give our best" he replies standing up and facing her as she looks at the scenery "You know oppa, I had a sister" she says and Jimin out of curiosity asks about it. "I lost her when she ran away" she says and Jimin's eyes soften.
"I wanted to tell someone about it in case this battle becomes my death" she says looking down. "It won't be your death but letting others know your emotions is a good thing to do." He says and they make thier way back to the war arena.
Meanwhile Kookie feels blood escape from his mouth as the gunshot pierces through his stomach. He looks ahead and sees two girls, Jennie and Lali or well 'Lisa'. "Junkook works for Jong Suk!? Lisa should we shoot him again?" The cat eyes girl asks and Lisa nods in disagreement.
"Unnie..I can't kill him!" Lisa says falling to the floor "I love him.." her voice trails of and Jennie offers Lisa a hand "Let's save him then" she says, Lisa's eyes lighting up. "B-but isn't that-" she stutters but Jane interrupted her "They say everything is fair in love and war and we have both"
Lisa and Jane manage to treat him and bring him to the helicopters "Rest here, we won't kill you" Kookie smiles "I want to fight. I have to" he says with sad eyes "You're injured Junkook! I am sorry" Lisa says and the two leave.
Lisa and Jennie seperate as they continue to fight the empire of ice when Jane spots a man. She's about to kill him but catches a glimpse of his face and stops in her tracks "Y-you" she asks with wide eyes as she points at the brown haired man.
"Jennie..." He comes closer but Jennie suddenly pushes him away. "Why Taehyung!?" She yells, V takes a step back "I didn't expect to see you here" he says with a cracky voice. "We have to kill eachother?" She asks with a softer voice "Yes.." he says with teary eyes. "Let's do it.." she pulls out her dagger/gun and he does the same.
They put the gun to each other, "I love you" she says and smiles one last time "I love you too" he replies before they get ready to shoot eachother. If this world can't accept them together then they'll escape to another world. If they can't live together they'll die together, in each other's arms.
SHOOT.
The couple lays on the floor, bleeding out because of the gunshot. Jane's head on V's chest as the two leave this world.
Rosé takes out alot of people fiercely when she sees a familiar figure fighting near the side of the island. She looks closer and sees Jimin fighting a mafia. "Huh?" She thinks out loud and catches thier attention. Jiminie looks at her and his eyes widen "Chae!?" He asks breathing heavily and the mafia he was fighting takes the opportunity to attack and pushes Jiminie.
He falls into the ocean and the mafia kicks him further into the depths of the water. Rosé shoots him dead before running to see Jimin. "JIMIN!" She yells as she runs into the ocean. "Chaeyoung don't, this isn't an ordinary ocean! You'll drown too!" He says as he trys to get out. "I can't let you die!" She yells and trys her hardest to get close to him but the last thing he wants is for her to die.
He purposely drowns himself, whispering one thing before hand "I love you my Chae" his body sinks into the deadly ocean as Rosé struggles but doesn't give up trying to reach him but when she does, it's too late. She holds her breath and dives underwater. She sees him drowning and swims as fast as she can.
She grabs hold of the boy and trys to swim up, carrying both their wait as she pushes herself against the waves. She can't let Jimin die. She holds him tight and paddles as fast as she can but her legs give out..
I love you my mochi and I'm sorry I couldn't save us. I am sorry I misunderstood you.
