"Bails." I smiled, holding my phone up to my ear as I left Erica's office, leaning against the wall.

"Lil."

"Ugh. You too?"

"He didn't mean to sleep in."

"You really gave in to his pressure to call me huh? Do you have a backbone?"

"Nope. Why are you ignoring him?"

"I'm not ignoring him. I'm busy with work. I got here at half 10, had a meeting at 11 until half 12. Then had a lunch meeting with Erica about that client, a new hire, a big issue we're having at the moment, then I've been in another meeting with the team to talk about this new clients needs-"

"Alright. Alright-"

"No I'm not done. So I've come out now to go and interview this new hire and then I need to make sure he's trained up today, then I need to actually do some work so I'm not going to be finishing her until late. He said he was going to wait for me but I know he has plans tonight and I'd rather not have princess Sophia thinking I was keeping him hostage thanks. I'll get him kicked out if I have to."

"Lil-" I laid my head back. "Is this about last night?"

"No. I'm fine about that."

"Lilly don't lie to me."

"I'm not lying Bailey. I'm fine."

"Lil?" I turned my head to Shelby. "Someone in reception. Said he has a 2 o'clock with you but there's nothing on your calendar?"

"Yeah Shel. I'm expecting him. It's fine. I'll go down." I rubbed my temples. "Bailey, is there anything else? My 2 o'clock is here." I set off walking, deciding to take the stairs for a little extra umph.

"He cancelled his plans with her so he can take you home."

"It going to be late."

"Then let him into the office when everyone leaves so he knows you're not just ghosting him."

"But I am ghosting him."

"Lilian."

"Bailey."

"Stop being awkward. He apologised. He didn't mean to, it wasn't intentional. He offered to still take you." I rolled my eyes. "Stop rolling your eyes at me as well."

"Stop rolling your eyes at me." I mocked and he breathed down the phone. "Anything else?"

"Yes. I want a cookie but you said no one can have any without asking so they don't all vanish." I laughed.

"You know that was specifically so Luke doesn't scoff them all."

"Yeah but I thought I better ask anyway." I stepped into the lobby, crossing my arm at Robin.

"Have a cookie Bails."

"Okay thanks." I shook my head slowly.

"Can I go now? I have people to see and sign in."

"Yes. Talk to him."

"Hm." He breathed into the speaker again. "Bye." I hung up, pushing my phone into my pocket and turning to see Harry. "Harry!"

"You remembered my name! I am impressed." I smiled and walked the few steps over to him, opening the visitors book and signing my part.

"I did! Can you sign this for me, I'll be 2 seconds." He nodded and picked up the pen as I walked over to Robin. He stood up, leaning back against the arm of the sofa.

"I'm not leaving."

"I know."

"Can we talk now?"

"I'm busy."

"Well when aren't you busy?"

"When you were supposed to be out with Sophia."

"You're more important than her." I crossed my arms. We both knew that wasn't true. "Lil-"

"I'll sign you in when everyone else leaves. Won't be until like 5 though. Go eat or shop or something. Don't just sit here all day."

"And risk you going home without me? Not happening."

"I'm in meetings all day. I don't have time to leave." He looked at me and I glanced over my shoulder.

"Dinner?"

"I will be working through it."

"That's fine." I gave him a single nod, turning and walking back to Harry.

"Let's go then trouble." I pressed the lift call button. "Oh wait. Stand there, smile."

"What-"

"Just for the company website before I forget." I chuckled. "Oh come on, not so stuffy. Give me, I just said something funny and I'm cute so I get away with it." He chuckled and I snapped the pic. "Brilliant." I stepped into the lift, send it to Erica.

Harry!

Oh god I forgot how cute he was.
God save my soul lol

I locked my phone as the door closed, catching eyes with a very confused Robin. What was there to be confused about man. You're the one cancelling plans with your girlfriend to eat in my office whilst I work.

"Who was he?" I looked at Harry and rolled my eyes which earned me a chuckle.

"My best friend believe it or not. He pissed me off this morning so cancelled plans with his prissy girlfriend to come sort it but I'm rammed today so he's going to sit there until everyone's gone home."

"Doesn't he have work?"

"He has a weird job, it's seasonal I guess." He nodded.

"You looked really mad at him. What did he do?"

"Woke up late when he was supposed to be bringing me in and that made me late and nearly miss a client meeting."

"Oooft."

"Yeah." I stood up as we were almost there. "Oh. By the way. You're the only guy in here so um, they might go a little crazy." He chuckled.

"Wait let me check my hair then." I laughed. "I'm kidding. I don't care."

"Good because you look fine. Chill out. I came to work yesterday in a hoodie and shorts and a messy bun because I couldn't be arsed. As long as there is no client meetings. Do what you please." I shrugged and he smiled, stepping out into the office with me. "Girls, you remember Harry from last summer?" They all lifted their head and slowly nodded. "Hopefully he'll be giving us a hand on those new accounts I told you about this morning." They all nodded again, staring at him. "Alright. He's male, he's fully dressed. At least act like he's normal." I chuckled and watched Harry nervously run his hands through his hair. "Come on, my office is down past Erica's, straight down, left turn, straight to the end. Do you want a drink?"

"Um, just some water please." I nodded.

"No worries. I'll grab it just go let yourself in. Light switch will be on the side." He took off walking and I turned to the girls, fanning myself quickly which made them all giggle quietly. Not exactly appropriate but whatever. It's fine. What was Erica going to do? Sack me? Lol. Sure.
