Chapter - 9

                                    

                                          
        "Wahhh! Is it really that cheap? Why though?" Kim beom asks dongwook. "you wanted it cheap but you're complaining, do you want it or not?". Dongwook says. "yeah ok ok don't be mad at me now". He hands over the advance for the room and goes into the room. It's dark, old and kinda creepy. "Are you sure there isn't a ghost in here or something?". Beom said sarcastically. "Of course not, are you a kid, do you believe in ghosts?"
"I'm not afraid of anything, just asking because it's too cheap for a room, I like it though" beom smiles. "okay then when are you moving here?" Dongwook said curiously. He was about to live but beom grabs his hand and gets closer to the older's ear. "since you're older than me....... Um can I call you hyung?". Dongwook felt weird hearing such a word. "why do you wanna call me hyung?". Beom smiles, "just like that, I felt like I should. It's okay if you don't want me to-" he tries to leave but dongwook stops him, facing the ground and says "you can!!!". Boem tries not to smile at him, "Okay then....... Hyung". Dongwook feels new. he's never been called hyung before. 
      He never had a brother he could bicker with, never had a friend. Before meeting jungsuk he was an empty shell, he didn't have any feelings towards anyone. He knows well that the people from the orphanage are relying on him because they have no hope in this world. It's been 8 to 9 months since he met jungsuk. He feels like he's the most loved person in the world when he's with jungsuk. Jungsuk fells the same way too. They are so in love with each other, that they didn't care what's happening in the world or even the apartment. Dongwook stopped caring about the neighbours and they were furious, that's when Kim beom entered the apartment. Beom's room is right next to dongwook and jungsuk's room. 
       As dongwook hears the word 'hyung' he feels different. Something so comforting, relieving and weird. He didn't know what to do at that moment. He blanked out and was staring at beom without realising it. Beom waves his hand in front of dongwook's eyes, "dongwook are you there?" He asks with curiosity. Dongwook finally comes to his senses. "huh. What? What happened again?" He looks around with a confused expression. "you've been staring at me for a while now. I should ask what's wrong". Dongwook gets shocked, "I wasn't staring at you, I was just blanked out". "okay then good night, dongwook," he says and tries to close the door of his room. Dongwook stops the door from closing. Beom looked at him with a confused expression. "what is it now?"
"Yo-you said you would cal-call me that," dongwook says weirdly. "call you what?"
"You know it, you just said it". "no I forgot can you tell me what I said". Boem teases dongwook cus he's cute. Adorable. "why are you doing this now, didn't you want to call me hyung?". Dongwook rolls his eyes with a cute pout and tries to hide his smile. Beom smiles widely, "oh! Right I asked you if I could call you hyung and you said yes. Okay". "Yeah. Now start calling me hyung or else I will kick you out of this apartment". Boem is shocked, "Okay okay you don't have to, I will do it". Dongwook nods and keeps staring at him with a weird expression. "Good night, HYUNG. can I get some sleep now?" He says with a huge fake smile. Dongwook couldn't take it anymore, he was feeling something, is it bromance? Who knows. He tries his best to hide his smile but he couldn't so he runs to his room as fast as possible. Beom watches him run and smiles to himself. Then he closes his door and goes to sleep. 
        As dongwook enters his room he finds his boyfriend sleeping on the bed. He looked angelic. He jumps on the bed and gets between the younger's arms, hugging him tightly, with a huge smile on his face. Jungsuk hugs him back and smiles slightly, then they cuddle all night. 
         The next morning they both wake up as they hear someone coming into their room and shouting "hyung". They look in the direction where the voice comes from. Jungsuk got really scared and held his boyfriend's arm and hid behind him. Dongwook sighs and pats the younger on his head assuring him that he is safe then turns to the person that made the voice. "yahhhhh! Don't you have any manners, who permitted to barge into our room like that? And why were you shouting?". Boem ignored all the scolding and got closer to the couple with a pout on his face, " hyungg~~" he sat on the bed with him. "yah! What are you trying to do?". "hyung, the people in the open shower are creepy, they keep looking at me with weird expressions, I can't shower peacefully, can you do something about it". Dongwook sighs, "you're an adult can't you take care of these things yourself?". 
"Hyung. Please it's not about age anyone would feel that way, are you not scared of them?" Beom looks at jungsuk. He doesn't answer. "see he's scared too, so please help me huh, please". Dongwook rolls his eyes and sighs again. "fine, I'll help you this once okay, only this time". "okay, thank you hyung" beom smiles brightly, too brightly. Dongwook says to jungsuk, "do you wanna come too, baby?". Jungsuk shakes his head, saying no. 
        As dongwook goes to the open showers with beom, he finds the creeps staring at him and only he knows why. "excuse me, it will be nice if you stop staring at him like that, you're making him uncomfortable" he fakes a smile. He glares at them and they immediately get out of there. "woow hyung, you're so cool, they just listened to you like that". Beom couldn't stop complimenting him. "yahh it's enough now go and take shower" as he was going to leave, " aren't you staying here? Don't you want to take a shower too?". Dong wook is shocked and confused at the same time. "why would I stay here? I just came because you said you were uncomfortable. Now they're gone right". "Is the guy from earlier, your boyfriend?". He asked curiously. "yeah, he is, does it bother you?". Beom chuckles," no not at all, he's very handsome and cute, perfect for you. I guess". Dongwook smiles at that, " yeah right, he is", he keeps smiling. "omg you're so in love, I'm gonna vomit" he makes weird expressions. "yes I love him so damn much. Ok I should go now", and leaves. Beom laughs and takes a shower peacefully. 
         "Dongwook-ah, who's that man from earlier, I haven't seen him before" 
" He's a new tenant, baby. He lives in the room next to us." 
"Ohh okay, but why does he call you hyung? You never let anyone call you that"
"He just asked if he could call me and I said yes, I didn't think of it"
"Oooh I see a change there, someone's trying to socialize huh?"
"Yahh! It's not like that, I'm not that close to him we just met yesterday"
"Lee dongwook, so your soft spot doesn't only belong to me now that you've got yourself a younger brother"
"No, baby it's just for you, I don't care about anyone else"
"No no, baby it's good for you, the more people close to you the happier you'll get, just don't ruin this cute relationship, it's just blooming" jungsuk smiles. 
Dongwook also smiles and pecks jungsuk on his lips. They connect their foreheads and smile more. The word 'younger brother' hits dongwook differently, even the thought of it is, it just doesn't make any sense, why would he want a brother? He has jungsuk and it's enough for him, he doesn't need anyone else. But besides what he thinks he does need people who care for him in his life, just one isn't enough. He needs more comfort from different people to change. He needs a change in his life, he just doesn't know it yet. Beom is the kind of person, who fights with everyone, and bicker about everything, but still is a great comfort to others. Just like a sibling. The most annoying creature in the world but you love them the most. 
       Dongwook got ready for his work, and jungsuk did too, but jungsuk has more time left than the older. So dongwook kissed his boyfriend's soft lips, telling him 'bye' and left. Jungsuk saw his boyfriend out and smiled brightly. Then out of nowhere, beom pops in front of jungsuk. He got scared for a moment and jumped back. 
"Hiiiiiiii! Hyung's boyfriend" he said cheerfully. Jungsuk got so shocked by that. "what!? What are you doing here, don't you have anything to do?". Beom thinks for a while," um actually no today is my day off, since I moved to a new apartment, I'm here to introduce myself to you". Jungsuk sighs with frustration. "uh okay fine, then I'm lee jungsuk, lee dongwook's boyfriend, and you?"
"I'm Kim beom, an orphan, I don't have anyone," he says with a smile. A sad one this time. Jungsuk feels sad for him since he's been in the same situation until he met dongwook, he can understand his feelings. "it's okay since you're here I can be your friend or a brother" he gives a comforting smile. "Oh don't be sad it's cool, I don't care about anything, by the way, thank you for offering to be your brother, now we're brothers right?" Jungsuk smiles, " yes beom-ah, you're my brother from now, you can just call me jungsuk, okay?"
"Okay Jungsuk-ah "
They both laugh and talk about some stuff in the apartment and lee dongwook. Jungsuk doesn't realise he has work that day and kept on talking with his new buddy.........
