THIRD PERSON

When Y/n's eyes shot open, the first thing she saw was the stars and moon above. Her head throbbed and pounded, it felt as if a stampede has taken place and the only area available to run on was her head. She drew a sharp breath and felt the familiar scorching warmth run through her body. She'd felt this warmth every time she would... pass. It was always especially hot when her body would get revived, twice the usual heat that she felt surround an area that's healing. But this time she didn't lie down and process the death like her therapist usually advised her, since dying is traumatic or whatever.

Her neck snapped straight, and she stared forwards in the direction where the bullet came from. Izuku and Katsuki were nowhere to be seen, most definitely chasing after the shooter. 'Who am I kidding,' She scoffed internally. 'They've certainly found that son of a bitch.' She pulled herself up to her feet and exhaled sharply from her nose like a bull. Y/n cracked her neck and took powerful strides to the fence and climbed it effortlessly before jumping down and landing on the opposite side.

She held her head up and glared ahead, there she saw Izuku and Bakugou interrogating the resisting assassin. The shooter was bound by Black Whip and refused to speak as the two heroes in front of him shouted at him. Clenching her fists, Y/n marched towards them. She was behind the shooter, so she couldn't get a look at who it was. But when she reached him, she kicked his shin which forced him to kneel in front of her before grabbing him by his hair and pulling it down, halling his head back to look at her.

Her head was tipped downwards, and the blood from her forehead dripped onto the face of the shooter, making him flinch. "You little... I thought you told me you weren't involved with Lust?" She spat, smiling sadistically at the receptionist that she'd let run off yesterday. He shook beneath her, and she fake-pouted at him. When she noticed Black Whip unravel, she remembered that Izuku and Katsuki were standing in front of her. "I'm sorry, where was I?" She tutted, tilting her head.

Izuku's palm covered his mouth, and more tears were streaming down his eyes as he stared at Y/n in front of him. He retrieved Black Whip out of pure shock at the sight ahead. She was alive, standing, and talking while blood flowed from her forehead and down to her face, separating as it reached her nose and cascading down her cheeks like tears. He was relieved, of course, but bewildered mostly. Katsuki on the other hand was wide-eyed and slack jawed, staring at Y/n as if the devil himself just crawled out the ground.

"Don't look so shocked Katsuki, I've already told you about it..." Y/n sighed at Katsuki with a lopsided smile. "Told you what, Katsuki?!" Izuku turned to his other friend with a ferocious glare. "T-The quirk... But I didn't think that It'd... Not to this extent..." Katsuki fumbled to explain, but he just watched her die in front of him minutes ago, and now she's just up and talking as if nothing happened. "... The quirk...?" Izuku repeated, his voice barely above a whisper. "Right, that's where I was. I was getting to one of the reasons why I'm not the same person as I was before... But before I do that, give me a second..."

The man beneath struggled, trying to break from the grip she had on his hair. Y/n irritably flung his head to the side, and his body followed. "Get up." She ordered, he obeyed hesitantly, shivering as he got up from the mud to face her. His shaky legs moved towards an escape, but she clasped his neck and lifted his body to eye level. He flailed, kicking and clawing at her arm. Katsuki took a step to ask what she was doing, but she put a finger up and stopped him in his tracks. "Is this some revenge plot? Who sent you?" She spoke, bringing his face closer to hers.

"I d-did it f-for the c-cause..." He wheezed. Y/n moved one of the fingers she had wrapped around his neck, revealing a small apple tattoo– the exact same as the one Lust had. "Your cause is dead, there's no one left. I killed them all..." She whispered directly into his ear before pulling him away to stare into his reddening eyes. "N-No... It's not... Our lord is coming... for you..." He spat. Y/n's brain didn't have to think for long to figure out that Lust was not the highest boss in this... cult, but he was connected to him. And this boss wanted her to repent, for whatever reason. One thing she knew for certain though, this was a whole other circus than the League. 'It's always weirdos that are after me...' She thought, tightening her grip on the man's neck and bringing him closer.
