Hi. I've been gone for a whole year (again) 👁️👁️
Sorry but I've been doing life, dropped out of college, worked a tough job, went back to college and now I got my associates and I nice lil job 👍 And now I'm heading back to get my bachelors next 😎 
So life is busy, but I like the idea of finishing this old story. So we'll see. Also, don't expect my grammar to get better I ain't proofreading this. This is a hobby, not an essay 😑 Anyways... thanks for reading!



Rose's POV
I stood in my office feeling embarrassed, "So? Are you gonna tell me why you don't wanna eat?" Luke asked. "I-It's cause... I want to lose weight before the wedding," I confessed. "Lose weight? By starving yourself! Come on Rose everyone knows starving yourself does not work, and it's the worst way to try to lose weight!" He yelled, and I winced at the tone of his voice. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have yelled. It's just that, I don't want you to get sick because you're starving yourself. Plus if you want to lose weight do it safely, I can help you; but you need to understand that losing a lot of weight in a few weeks is dangerous," Luke explained and hugged me. "But I just want to look pretty for you," I said as tears ran down my face. "What do you mean? You're the most beautiful girl in the world. If you want to lose weight I want you to do it because you want it, not because of me. I love you Rose, so please, can we go get you something to eat?" He asked. I nodded and wiped my tears, "I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking straight... Thank you Luke for taking care of me," I smiled. "You know I'm always watching out for you," He said and kissed my forehead. "Ok you can go back to work I distracted you enough, I'll go to the cafe right now and grab something to eat," I explained. "Are you sure? I can go with you," He said. I shook my head, "There's a lot of work right now, we'll see each other for lunch, ok?" I asked. Luke was debating in his head, "I promise Luke I'll eat, you can go work," I smiled and began pushing him out the door. "Fine, I'll see you soon Rose," He sighed and began walking back to his office. Ok now to go get something to eat and get back to work. I began heading to the cafe to grab something to eat.
I'm back in my office after eating a meal I got in the cafe, I was finishing the first set of papers I had and heard the door open. I looked up to see Stacey, "Hey sorry I took a while, the copy machine did not work so I called someone to help fix it. They did and I finished distributing the papers, and I received emails from some partnering companies asking to combine our company with theirs." Stacey said. "Combining? No thanks," I stated. "Yeah I thought so, I'll reply with them right away. Oh and here you go there's more documents you need to look over from the software department," Stacey explained and sat down next to me. "Ok thanks, I have 8 more sets of papers I need to finish, and then prepare for the meeting on Thursday. Then there's the emails of companies that I need to look at, and then I'm going to have the other reports that I asked for from today's meetings..." I explained as I continued my paperwork. "I can review the emails, and if you want I can prepare the materials and the topics that should be discussed for the upcoming meeting," Stacey offered. "I don't want to dump a lot of work onto you Stace, only if you have time," I said. "You underestimate me Rose, plus I don't have much to do." She stated. I nodded and we continued with our work. 
"Stace, can we take a break, my back is killing me," I whined. "I told you to buy that posture corrector on Amazon, bad posture is killer in the office." Stacey stated. "Come on, let's go walk around for a bit, I wanna stretch my legs." I said, and stood up. "Fine, let's go check on the guys," Stacey said. I nodded and we began walking to their office, "Oh you know what I'm going to go grab a water from the lounge," I said. "I'll go with you, I wanna grab one too," Stacey said as we walked down to the lounge.
Before we walked in we heard some people having a conversation, "Can you believe Luke is marrying the CEO?" I heard one ask, I immediately stood still and began to listen. "Luke can't be settling down, he must be trying to take over the business," Another person said. Luke taking over the company? Luke isn't like that... I continued listening. "Imagine taking over the company, well it must be easy for him since his dad is known for taking over business," One of them laughed. This can't be true, I thought. "Those guys, can't keep their noses out of other people's businesses," Stacey whispered. "Besides, the CEO ain't even all that, all she's got is money and the company. Her secretary though... I'm jealous of Blake for being able to get with that," One of them said. "If I knew we could hook up with her I would've had her screaming the second she stepped in the meeting room," Another one said. "She is fine, she's a 10/10 babe. Blake sure is lucky to be banging a girl like that every night" The other laughed. I don't know what got over me but all I saw was red.
