Ayumi laid on her bed remembering what Jessica told her the previous Friday.
"Why wasn't I told about this?"
"Sooman-nim and your sensei wanted to keep this a secret as part of his surprise plan dubbed "AKB 2.0". All we know if that it's supposed to launch sometime next week. All of you girls are all going to participate for chance to debut as part of nine-member group."
Ayumi plopped herself on bed irritated by the question.
"A survival show? But why sensei? What are you trying to pull?" Ayumi sighed.
"You should be excited kid! You'll have the chance you show us your moves." 
"We wish you all the best of luck for this." Seohyun echoed a similar statement.
Ayumi took a deep breath trying to calm herself.
"I'm worry too much again, I just need to sleep this one out for tonight." Ayumi yawned drifting asleep.
The next Day
"What's with the camera for?" Mayu said as Team B walked inside the theater.
"Konichiwa, this is NHK reporting here with some major news. We're right here in the heart of Akihabara district where rumored Korean pop sensation: Shoujo Jidai is present. As you know Akihabara Theater has been the center for idol music for some time now. It's main group: AKB48 have established themselves as the Japan's main girl group. From catchy melodies to their cute dancing, they have won the hearts of many Japanese. Their appearances at the Nippon Budokan and first ever Nippon Music Awards have further increased their reputation outside the country. It has been reported Yakushi Akimoto has been working close with Lee Sooman for developing an all-new subunit which will be a group unlike anything seen in Jpop." The woman reported on the camera before noticing Ayumi.
"Ah, it seems we found someone, The little sweet fish herself, Ayumi Tanaka. Tanaka-san we would like you to answer some few questions about this new group and survival show. What is the show about and who will win?"
"Um... I don't know much to be quite honest with you. Sensei doesn't like sharing his plans and he caught us by surprise with this one. What I can say, is it will be something interesting to watch. I know that all of us will compete for the spot. That's all I really know reporter-san." Ayumi replied nervously.
"Arigatogozaimasu for your time. As you know NHK represents Japan's national broadcasting company. We will remain here for answers. Good luck on your performance we'll be rooting for every one of you." The woman waved at them.
Sana saw them around and greeted "Ayucchi!!"
"Sana-chan what are you doing here?" Ayumi hugged her back. She wore a basic seifuku that most trainees wear. Sana's vibrant long hair was still visible.
"I managed to pass the auditions whaddya think?" Sana said with a grin.
"You look great!!" 
"Thanks Ayucchi I tried!!"
"Oh, you must the famous Ayu-chan everyone talks about. The name is Juri Takahashi, nice to meet ya." Juri introduce herself. She looked around the same age as her.
"Ayu-chan is that you?" A short haired girl bowed.
"I'm such a big fan of you! I'm Miyu Takeuchi."
"Oh, you must the trainee Yokoyama-san told me about. I heard you're a really good singer." 
"I AM! I can't wait to show it in front of everyone. Hope I get to win!" Takeuchi said in excitement.
"You're a bunch of fools is you think you have a shot! I'm Haruka Shimazaki. I already rank considerably high in the charts and I have participated in the B sides with the senpais. It's only natural I win this competition." Paruru introduced herself. She displayed a level of boastfulness similar to Sayumin.
