Morgan's POV

Things were starting to go great with Bailynnd, conversations and just her in general I figured something was too good to be true. I mean I even told Hardy about her, about how cool she was all around.

"Yeah that's cool man but how do you know she's not with you just for your money?" He asked

"Naw man she ain't like that she's better than the rest, she was definitely born and raised in the good part of the south. Her parents worked a lot so she was raised more by her Christian grandparents, she wouldn't do anything like that." I pondered

I mean he did have a point that's how all the others were. I guess I could test the waters and ask her to an awards show when it happens.

"Hey gorgeous um quick question while I have it on my mind um would you want to go to an awards show with me I'm not 100% sure when it's happening but I figured I'd ask and give you time to prepare and work it out with your job?" I messaged

Bailynnds POV

As a usual work day Ashley was mid story when Bailynnds deep into her phone with a smile that could explode off her face at any minute.

"But anyway like I was saying... okay cool your not listening to me it's fine just be on your phone and ignore me for Morgan like always it's cool" Ashley spat

"Okay look I was really into your story till I actually started reading this message from Morgan and ummm I'm not entirely sure how to feel." I noted

Ashley began reading the message from him as she was grossed out by the "country music" part of all of this.

"Okay first off ew gross disgusting y'alls relationship is literally a puke fest and I hate but adore it because your happy, honestly I think you should go he's not sure when it is so you have plenty of time to save money and look for outfits." She said

She might have hated our relationship, if that's even what this is because honestly I'm not sure at this point, but she was helpful in our "date" night. So there was only one thing to do.

"Um yeah sure I'd love to go! Also it gives me time to save up for an outfit, get all fancy, and to request off work. I can't wait! I hope the tour is going great for you, and your having a BLAST! Can't wait to see you again!" I replied

I put my phone away as I went back to work, finally 11 had rolled around and it was time to go home! As soon as I get in the car Morgan started FaceTiming, he's laying in bed on his tour bus chatting away but I could sense something was wrong.

"Are you okay? You look and sound happy but I have this feeling you're the opposite?" I asked

"Yeah yeah I'm fine, okay naw I'm not, touring hasn't been the same since I met you that night. I was use to all the attention from girls and everything, but ever since that night I keep looking for you out there in the crowd and I never find you and it just sucks because I want you to be here watching you having fun watching me. In the same aspect I don't want you to get bored of this lifestyle, doing this after every show is good and all but I'd rather have you on the bus beaming with excitement and telling me how it was for you." He mentioned

"I know, I would in a heartbeat but I have bills to pay and my family would flip if they knew I left with a guy they haven't met yet." I sighed

"Maybe we need to change that, I have a couple of days off before I head to the north for a couple weeks we could plan for sometime next week you pick day time place and I'll be there!"

Then call drops, I'm not sure who hated being away from the other more. I loved he was doing what he loved best but I want to know him more in person than just a day every month.

The day had come for us to meet up so he could meet my family and they'd meet him, I was sick to my stomach hoping they would like him as much as I do. He pulls up in his "yee yee redneck" truck as Ashley would call it, when a lady climbs down and walks closely beside him.

"Hey y'all this is my mama, my best friend and biggest supporter, I'm Morgan nice to meet y'all Bailynnd has told me a lot about you guys." He introduced

"Hey! Nice to meet you Mrs. Wallen he's told me so much about you, nothing but good things and he definitely loves you a lot! These are my parents, mom dad this is obviously Morgan um are we ready to go in?" I stuttered

Neither of us knew what to do so we just kinda walked solo into the nice restaurant. I gave the host my name for the reservation I made but apparently it wasn't right, everyone looked confused and started getting upset.

"Oh um look for Morgan, I kinda went and changed it after you told me you made it because I figured it's least I could do for meeting your parents and you doing everything on your own to go with me to my thing." He joked

No sooner than we sat down my parents laid onto him, I could see he was getting nervous hoping he didn't say the wrong things until they asked what I was using my money to go out with him for.

"Oh um well I'm a country music artist I write and sing for country music, and every year we have the ACM awards and I asked her to be my date months ago. She said she would but y'all would be asking questions about it so I figured we could do this whole meeting and getting to know not only me but my mom and we get to know the parents who raised this amazing girl." He answered

My parents looked at each other nodded and firmly but jokingly agreed to let me go with him to his awards thing as long as he protected me from the fame and fortune, they knew I wasn't ready nor did I want any part of it unless it had to be done.
