Sierra drops me off in front of my house and rolls down her window to speak "call me if you need me to pick you up.. this doesn't sound very good and remember not to listen to what they have to say if it's negative" she says with a concerned look. I nod "yeah.. I'll call you later tonight..".
She nods and drives off. I stand there for a second and sigh before walking up to the door opening it slowly not to make any noise. The living room light is on so I quietly make my way over to the stairs going up them quietly, I make it to the top and the floor creaks. Really dude. 
My mom hollers "Cody are you home!" I groan and walk back downstairs "yeah, didn't wanna disturb you" I say while walking to the middle of the room standing awkwardly. My dad sits up in his chair and puts down his drink which is most likely alcohol by the looks of it "you didn't think to tell us you were off to?" He says this in a tone that doesn't sound like he cares at all "it wouldn't matter anyways I only hang out with Sierra" my mom slaps the arm of her chair "your attitude needs to stop here" she says in a threatening way making the hairs on the back of my neck stand. 
I look down a little "I'm sorry.. I just thought-" I get cut off by my dad "you don't ever know what you think you know, we give you everything you want, we busted our asses off for years for you to have anything!" My body jerks a little out of his sudden raise of his voice. 
He doesn't ever listen to me "Dad that's not what I meant-" he cuts me off again but this time he stands up holding his drink "Are you gonna run away? Your mother is always worried when your not in your room and just gone" I tear up out of frustration from not being able to say anything. 
"No I'm not I'm sorry I'll start telling you" I look down fully so my dad doesn't see my tears, which would have maybe worked if my body wasn't shaking so bad. 
"Are you fucking crying." 
His footsteps grow closer and I see him standing in front of me "n-no.." he grips my arm and puts his drink on my jaw making me look at him, his grip tight around my arm making me wince a little and a tear falls down my cheek triggering the rest to fall to "d-dad it hurts please stop" I say trying to hold in my voice cracks. "Drink." He says while putting the drink up to my mouth, I shake my head "b-but dad you told me last time that-" I barely get my words out before he dumps the drink on my head, a slight gasp escapes my lips.
My mom gets up and walks out of the room looking annoyed. "Dad- M-mom! I'm sorry I didn't want to bother you!" I plead raising my voice a little and from the pain I try to pull away from my dads grip "Dad your hurting me let go, stop!" he throws the glass on the floor causing it to shatter then slaps me across the face not letting go of my arm "your a failure to the family name Cody!" I try getting out of his grip and sob "I'm s-sorry" is all that comes out of my mouth. 
He pushes me back and I fall to the ground on my back landing on some of the chunks of glass that landed there, he puts his foot on my chest and presses down to keep me from moving causing the glass to pierce through my skin. Even though my cries for my mom won't do anything I keep calling for her, he looks down at me and takes his foot off and kicks me in the side hard making me roll over into a ball coughing a little. He then kicks my back trying to get me to get out of my form.
I think about just getting up and beating the shit out of him but I know I wouldn't win and would only make things worse for myself so I endure what I'm expected. He takes off his belt and yells "GET UP!" Out of fear I weakly get up backing away from him trying once more to try and get out of this "I won't disrespect you a-again I'm sorry I won't be a b-bad son I'm so so sorry" I say I'm between sobs.
He seems to not care because he hits me hard in the leg with his belt making me lean down a little, he takes this chance and hits me in the back with the metal part of the belt making me scream. 
"What now you don't have anything to say? Your not a man what a pussy!" I limp back and let out hard sobs feeling the pain in my body but more in my back and side. "What do y-you want me to do?!" 
A couple more hard hits he stops and puts his belt back on, grabs my phone that fell out of my pocket and throws it at the wall then walks over to sit down on his chair "go get me a beer and then get out of my face." He says with pure disgust in his voice. 
Even after all of that he shows no regret or sympathy towards me at all, I stumble my way up, grab my now very cracked phone and limp over to the kitchen shaking and trying to stop the tears from falling out of my eyes. 
Why is he likes this, why does he do this to me without giving me a good reason of what I'm doing wrong? Am I just someone to take the frustration out on? I get to the fridge and grab a beer out of it overthinking everything while walking back to the living room. 
He continues to watch the tv like I don't exist so I place down his beer and quickly leave the room not looking back before he changes his mind about letting me leave, I just go upstairs to my room. After I know I'm safe in my room I break down and fall to the ground and cry hard, I fold into a ball and cry my eyes out. "W-why can't I-I just have a nice f-family" I mutter so I don't get a second though from my dad downstairs. 
I lay there crying until I pass out.

Hello, this chapter was rough, screw his parents, I wanted to give some insight on his parents, he gets neglected, yet if they notice this it's his fault, his dads a dick that's all I'll say for him, gonna post the next chapter now so you don't have to wait after this sadness <3
