Chapter 32

                                    

                                          
Things don't always go as planned. You may be blissfully in love one second, and the next everything could be taken all away. And who do you have to blame for that, everyone else, or you?
                          
Kevin carried me all the way back to his room. We didn't do anything besides changing and sleeping. I took one of his oversized sweater, pulling it over my head before hitting the hay. But once I did... I cried again.
                          
"Sky..."
                          
I sucked up my running nose, stammering "It- it's just that I took one of Cam's sweater before and it kinda felt just like this."
                          
He pulled the blanket over me. Tucking me into bed. "Let's try to keep an open mind. Go to sleep Sky. I promise I'll be here if you need me." He laid next to me, taking me into his arms.
                          
Cuddling. Which base was this? First? Second? Half a base? All my walls were being knocked down one by one by him.
                          
It felt safe. This was probably one of my best sleeps. And deep down, I hoped it was his too.
                          
Morning sunlight penetrated through the curtains and into the room. I rubbed my eyes pushing myself up on to my shoulder. When Kevin promised that he would be the first thing I'd see. He meant it. 
                          
He was sitting at the end of the bed, playing with his phone.
                          
"Morning." I smiled.
                          
He turned his head to me "Feeling better?" 
                          
"Yeah." I hopped down the bed. "Are there any new toothbrushes I can use?" 
                          
"Let me ask the butler for you." He got up and headed to the door. As he twisted the knob open, Cam stood on the other side.
                          
His mouth ajar when he saw me in his room.
                          
He exchanged glances with me and Kevin. The fire probably irrupting in him.
                          
"Somebody explain something." He crossed his arms as he barged into the room.
                          
"Nothing happened..." 
                          
"Shut up." He didn't even let me finish my sentence. "You." He pointed to Kevin, "Start talking." He demanded.
                          
"Bro chill." He nervously chuckled. "She just slept over here cause... Erm... Cause something bothered her last night."
                          
"Why couldn't she sleep with me. She is my sister after all." He snapped.
                          
"Wait, isn't Selena sleeping with you?" Kevin asked honestly.
                          
Cameron roughly pushed Kevin backwards, the anger piercing through his eyes. "Kevin, I'm gonna say this once and only once. Stay. Away. From. Sky." 
                          
This was getting out of hand. 
                          
"Stop it Cam! Just stop it! You wanna know why I'm here? I'm here because your sorry ass made me cry yesterday. You're just such an idiot! Tell me, why can you date Selena and I can't even be seen with a guy?! Tell me?!" I was at rage. Who was he to tell me what to do when he was doing the exact opposite. Hypocrite.
                          
His mouth opened and shut back quickly. Lost for words.
                          
"That's what I thought." I pushed the door wide open. Storming down the hallway.
                          
I ordered one of their butlers to fetch me home.
                          
In the car, on the way home, I texted Kevin.
                          
"Tell me when you've settled things with that bastard."
