Chapter 11
A loud tapping disturbed me at the window. Frowning, I hurried over to it and wondered it if was a bird. My bedroom was on the second storey. I made my way over and I suddenly chocked on my own voice. One hand raised to the window and the other over my heart. I couldn't hear anything except for my erratic heartbeat.
Thump, thump, thump. A face hovered in front of my window. Blood streamed from the temple and black hair with white tips were hanging over the person's face.
"Who are you?" I froze in my place, while my voice moved on its own. What was he doing here? At my bedroom window and how did he get up here?
"Can I come in?" He asked softly, lifting his head to meet my eyes. His eyes were the darkest red I had ever seen. The most unnatural red but it didn't intimidate me. It looked like the same colour as roses. Blood continued to pour from his wounds. I couldn't leave him out there bleeding to death, but I didn't know him either.
"It's okay. Teya recommended me to come here." He said again. I nodded and my body moved on its own. His voice was so soft, almost like a lullaby and I obeyed. If he was a friend of Teya's then that should be fine. I believed that Teya was good-hearted. But then that brought me to the question of how Teya knew I lived here? Did she stalk me after I caught her stashing clothes in the tree? That was the most likely answer and plus my scent was all over the house. Darn werewolf noses.
I eased the window open and hoped my parents couldn't hear anything. They were both downstairs watching a movie and I hoped they were going to stay distracted. I didn't know how they would react with this.
He came through the window softly and shifted to one side. I blushed as he had to move some of my things on my desk out of the way. I probably should have moved the desk away from the window but I liked having a direct view outside while doing homework.
His eyes darted around the room, examining everything, the posters of drawings I had down and my colourful bed sheets that I still had from when I was little. I felt my cheeks heat up even more. He decided to slowly ease himself onto the floor so he was leaning on my bed and his feet hit the wheels of my swivel chair. I quickly got out my medicinal kit and crouched down next to him. I'd start with the head. I dabbed at the blood and watched as it started to heal, as fast as a werewolf. I frowned.
"I heal quickly." He said noticing my frown. He was a werewolf too. This confirmed it. Before I hadn't been sure but now, was I safe to have a werewolf in my bedroom? Unconsciously my fingers shook a little as my heart beat harder and faster. I started to work on his leg. Stopped the bleeding and then bandaging it back up.
I slathered antiseptic on his arms but I doubted it was needed and even as I bandaged he was healing but he was still pale.
"You're still hurt." I murmured but that seemed to be all the wounds.
"It's fine." He winced.
"No, it's not. Where else are you hurt?" I demanded and obediently he pointed to his right side. The side I had no view of. As I shuffled over I gasped. His whole right side was bleeding a waterfall. It wasn't healing.
