Hailey heard the explosion. She looked at the building from where she sat on the street and saw a huge tower of flames erupt from it. Her heartbeat quickened as she looked around. She saw Trevor and their captain running towards her, Atlas and Jake. They stopped in front of the three to catch their breath. "What the hell was that?" Jake asked as he stared in shock at the building, engulfed in flames. As caught his breath, Captain Trill stated "The blood in the box's you've been receiving, is explosive." Jake was shocked, along with everyone else. As they processed this, a black car pulled up to the sidewalk next to them. Out stepped a man in a black suit with sunglasses. He approached the group on the sidewalk. Trevor pointed his pistol at the man, as no one else had guns. "Who the hell are you and what do you want?" The man stopped walking and reached into his pocket. Before Trevor could utter a warning, his gun shattered in his hand and fell to the sidewalk in dozens of pieces. Trevor couldn't even process this. Instead, he readied himself in a fighting position. Jake chuckled to himself as Hailey looked at him in confusion. "What's so funny about this?" She asked him. Jake looked at her with a smile. "If he plan's on fighting Trevor, he has another thing coming." Hailey switched her gaze from Jake to Trevor. As the man continued to walk towards Trevor, Hailey saw his body tense up. And then, it happened in the blink of an eye. Trevor spun around and launched a spinning hook kick at the man, connecting perfectly with the left side of his head and sprawling him on the concrete. Hailey didn't register it at first, then she was amazed. "Wow! How did you do that?" He turned to face her and smiled. "I'm a Taekwondo black belt. I also do Muay Thai." Hailey stared at him, amazed with everything she knows about him. He smirked. "Is that something your in to, Sweetheart?" He asked her. Hailey was taken aback and flushed a deep red. Jake laughed at them. "Come on you two. Focus." He told them. Hailey shook her head, blocking Trevor's exclamation out of her mind. "Why would someone send an explosive to a police precinct? And how the hell did they make blood into a bomb?!" Hailey asked, more confused than ever. "It's entirely possible that they mixed the blood with light amounts of nitroglycerin." Captain Trill guessed. They all thought for a moment until Trevor grunted in pain. They all turned to him and the black suited man had punched him hard in the face. Jake tried to stand up, but he was too weak. Trevor recovered and launched a powerful hook at the man, expecting to easily deck him. The man caught the hook and kicked Trevor hard in the gut. Trevor spat out a small amount of blood as he barreled onto the street. He coughed a few times and got up, staring at the man with bloodshot eye's. He ran at the man and jabbed for his head. The man easily evaded and threw a side kick at Trevor. Trevor sidestepped and planted his knee square into the mans stomach. He held onto the man and swung a backwards elbow at his head, knocking him to the ground. The man held onto consciousness as Trevor stepped up to him. Trevor kicked him in the side of the head, making the man black out. Trevor was breathing heavily, still amazed that it took so much to take down a seemingly normal man. He turned to the others and everyone was staring in amazement. "That was incredible." Spat Atlas in shock. Trevor barely managed a smile. "It was nothing." Captain Trill and Jake were the ones who saw the bad part of this situation. "He was trained, wasn't he?" Jake asked Trevor. He stopped smiling and nodded. "An untrained man never would've gotten up from my first kick." Jake sighed. "This is bad. He was obviously working with that other man. And I have a feeling they were both apart of the blood and explosion." Jake stated. Everyone seemed to agree with this. "But why would they target the police?" Captain Trill inquired. Everyone remained silent. They heard an engine start and all stared at the car the man pulled up in. There was a man in the front seat who got out, face plain as day. Jake's heart skipped a beat. Everyone else was confused but defensive as Trevor prepared to face someone else. "Hello, Jake." The man said with a deceiving smile. Jake shook with rage, as he stood up on sheer willpower. "What the hell are you doing here?" Jake spat at the man. "Were you the one who did this!?" The man smiled and nodded. "Indeed I was the man who did this. I know you are looking for me, so I needed to destroy all evidence you had on me." Jake seemed even more enraged. "You ruined my life so much, and now you came back to ruin it even more." Jake was seething with rage as he tried to step forward but fell down due to his injuries. Trevor stood up to the man. "I don't know who you are, but I wont let you cause any more harm." The man laughed. "You must be Trevor. It's quite the honor. Trevor Dalton, one of the greatest detective's of your time." He crouched into a fighting position. "Let's see what you're capable of." Trevor tensed up, seeing that this man was experienced. The man lunged at Trevor with incredible speed. Trevor blocked a powerful side kick with his forearm and blocked a right hook headed straight for his head. As he was about to jab him in the stomach, Trevor felt a hard kick plant itself in his solar plexus. Trevor got dropped to the floor and coughed hard. He stood up fast just in time to parry a kick that would've shattered his skull against the concrete. He swung his arm at the man's head. He ducked and went for an uppercut to Trevor's jaw. Trevor leant back ever so slightly so that the attack would miss. It threw the man off balance just enough for Trevor to smash his fist into the mans stomach. This hit was so strong that the man spat out blood. He got crumpled to the floor. Trevor thought that the confrontation was over until the man twisted around on the floor and kicked him straight in the face, knocking Trevor over and making sure he wouldn't get back up. The man seemed quite exhausted from this and didn't feel like staying much longer would be a good idea. "When I come back for you, Sterling, you won't make it out alive." He got into his car and he drove away, as everyone stared blankly at what had just transpired.
