The nights were long, and the days even longer. It was so dull in his mansion that he preferred to sleep most of the time. The dust started to cover the furniture, floors and old paintings hanging on the walls. He didn't bother to clean it. No one visited him if you don't count his friend, who came once a month to fill his fridge with fresh blood supply. Sometimes he was lucky to be awake while he visited, and they would spend the time talking. It didn't happen that often, though. There were times he longed for the company in this lonely eternal life, but he got used to lonesomeness.

In his calm slumber, he heard the noises coming from outside his estate. He frowned. He recognized his friend's voice, but the other one was unfamiliar. Deep and velvet-like smooth. There was something in the tone of it that made him excited. He rolled restlessly on his queen-sized bed, letting his eyes open slowly. He was curious. Stretching his stiffened muscles, he stood up and made his way out of his room, not caring he only wore black shorts and an oversized white shirt.

Barefoot, he stepped on the dust-covered carpet, hating the feeling of the dirt clinging to his skin. The entrance door opened, and the two voices echoed through the vast hall. He quickened his steps wanting to see the owner of the inviting sound. Halting on top of the stairs, he let his eyes soak in the handsome man standing next to his friend. Tall and pale-skinned, his chestnut hair styled perfectly. The second their eyes met, he knew he had found his destiny.

"Oh, Third. You are awake." Two smiled, waving at him. Third nodded, not letting his gaze away from the other guest.

"This is Khai. We met at the Uni. And he's the same as you." Two glanced between them.

"I am going to put your food in the fridge. You can get to know each other in the meantime." He added before disappearing from their sight. They were left alone. Khai moved towards him. There was no hesitance in his steps as he gradually made his way up the stairs, stopping right in front of him. Khai's arm travelled to his face, caressing the smooth skin. His palm was familiarly cold.

"Beautiful." Khai breathes out.
