After I called Dean, I told everyone that I would meet up with them and give the run down, while the rest of the team checks out the drug addict. Everyone agreed and we went our separate ways.

-At a hotel room that night-

I walked into a dingy hotel room and scoffed, "Really? This is the place?" Dean grinned and tackled me in a hug, "Wifey!" I giggled as Dean kissed my face. John chuckled and pulled Dean off of me, "I heard you had to tell the team about what we do." I sighed, "I didn't have a choice. They were going to finish this case with or without you and thinking about the vampire killing them, didn't sit well with me. John, you have to help them when they get here and ask for information. We need to work together on this."

John sighed, "You're right." John hugged me and then started poking my side. I laughed as Dean cackled. A cough sounded from the door and I freeze, turning towards the door, "It wasn't me!" Dean laughs as I cover my face in embarrassment. I smiled and saw Bobby, "Bobby!" Bobby chuckled and hugged me, "So you've recruited people huh?" I groaned, "No, they are just working the case and I don't want them to die."

I got a call and I answered it, "Malik. Wait, what? Shit, I'll be right there. I'll bring the clowns." I grabbed my jacket, "Change of plans boys, a little boy was taken and my team needs all of our knowledge." Dean nods and follows me to the car. John and Bobby hang back a little.

"John, Bobby. Now!" I yelled at them and they scrambled to the Impala. I slammed the door shut and ran inside with the rest of them behind me. "I'm here." Hotch smiled and hugged me, "Thank god, you're okay. I'm Agent Aaron Hotchner, this is Spencer Reid, Derek Morgan, and Elle Greenaway." Dean chuckled and shook everyone's hand, "I'm the husband Dean Winchester. My father John and Uncle Bobby Singer. Cassie was right, I do mess up and she will go to any of you." I groaned and covered my face. Morgan snickered, "Ah, so you do think I'm an attractive man, sweetheart?" John chuckled, "Let's focus on this case okay? Now, from what the bodies show, we are dealing with a vampire. The little boy that was taken, if a vampire doesn't need food right away, will keep their victims alive. Dead blood is no good to them. The only way to stop a vampire is to decapitate them."

Elle hugs me, "I know why you kept this a secret. This is insane." Bobby glares at me and smacks the back of my head, "She shouldn't have told any of you." I glared right back, "And let them die old man? I don't think so." Dean snickers with Morgan and I glare at Dean, "Stop laughing before I key your car." Dean shuts up and whimpers, "Not Baby."

"Anyway, the little boy was at both crime scenes," Hotch said, showing me papers. Morgan sighed, "The unsub, or vampire, might have been after him all along. If they need them alive and they keep them alive, wouldn't a younger target help them in the long run?" John nodded, "It would."

Elle sneers, "I'm sure that's what Mrs. Brisbane thinks." Dean raised an eyebrow, "Was that the crazy lady blaming you for her son being kidnapped?" Elle nodded and Hotch glanced at her, "I want you to talk to her when she calms down and see if she can come up with any leads." Elle shakes her head, "She's not gonna want to talk to me."

Hotch sighs and just nods, "Try."  Elle sighs and walks away as I sigh, "I really hoped that this isn't some supernatural bullshit." Hotch nods, "This is way over our head and now, we can't bring in the unsub. You have to kill him." I fake sobbed, "Gideon is going to be pissed." Morgan snorted, "That's for sure. You'll have to sit him down and explain."

Hotch sets down a file, "Reid, Hydrangea. Let's go check out this body. Dean, you too." Dean started shaking his head, "No. I don't want to see." I sneered, "Let's go you big fucking baby or I'll arrest you for impersonating government officials." I've never seen Dean move so fast. Morgan cackled as I followed him and Hotch shook his head with a small smile.

Reid and I put on gloves as we look at the body. Dean gagged a little, "I might do some hunting but this is some next-level shit." I rolled my eyes and crouch down at the same time Spence did, "Definite vampire. The same set of teeth marks in the skin." Spencer looked at me, "But her throat is slashed this time."

Hotch looks between us, "That's why nobody heard her scream." I sighed and pushed her shirt aside a little. Spencer almost looked sick, "He split her rib cage open? Why would a vampire do that?" Dean crouched down next to Hotch, "What if there are two involved? A vampire and a human? The vampire needs to feed so he hunts down the victims. The human takes the organs and drinks the blood as well. Vampire gets away with everything they need and the human takes the fall." Hotch looks over at Dean, "That's probable, " Hotch picked up a pair of bolt cutters, "He opened her up with these." Dean gagged as Hotch set the cutters on the dryer and washer.

Spencer and I looked closer at the chest and Spencer squinted his eyes, "Looks like this time his target was the heart." Hotch looked up, "Did he take it?" I nodded, "Yeah."

-Later-

The four of us plus Morgan are sitting at a table on the phone with Gideon, "He took the heart? Hotch?" Hotch sighed and just stared at the wall, "Yeah." I sighed and leaned my head on Dean's shoulder, "Dean this isn't good." Dean whispered back, "Look on the bright side, if I'm right, you guys get the unsub and we can stop the fanger."

"The heart has always had a incredible symbolic significance. I mean, aside from just banal romantic associations." I leaned forward and continued, "The Egyptians left the heart in mummies because they believed the organ ensured eternal life."

Gideon sounded out of breath and frantic over the phone, "Something I read-" A series of bangs and different noises happened on the other end. I leaned over to Hotch, "I guess he'll stop doing dangerous activities huh?" "I heard that Malik!" I groaned as Gideon yelled over the phone at me.

"There was. There was an article by a Cambridge professor. It seems that, uh, all the organs the unsub has taken- stomach, liver, now the heart- were thought to be the seat of the soul, one time or another." Spencer looks at me, "Then he drinks their blood?" Dean looks confused and whispers to me, "Sounds like a cannibal that teamed up with a fanger." I nodded and Hotch leaned forward, "So when this man drinks his victims' blood-" Spencer looks thoughtful, "He believes he's encountering the divine." Morgan furrows his eyebrows, "Wait a minute, none of this explains why he took the kid."

"Well, the, uh, unsub made the victim into an angel. Maybe the kid's a Messianic figure." Hotch sighes and closes his eyes, "Let's just hope he doesn't feel the need to sacrifice him."

Once we got off the phone with Gideon we all stood up and Dean sighed, "I have to go talk with the old men and tell them what the new thing is." I nodded, "I'm going to check the car for vampire slaying materials." Spence and Morgan caught my arm at the same time, "Cassie. Please be careful. Since that half of the unsubs are your department, we don't need you to be kidnapped by that vampire," Morgan said in concern. I smiled and held his hand, "I promise I'll be safe."

Morgan and Spencer let go of my arm and I walked outside, waving Dean off as he took Bobby's car and drove off. I opened the trunk and rummaged through it, not noticing someone behind me.

I jumped when I turned around, "Morgan. I said I'm fine. Beside we have all the-" The shadow cut me off and walked forward into the light, "Vampire slaying gear? You hunters are all the same." I grit my teeth and punched the man, only to be knocked out and dragged off into the night.
