In the school. The stalker is in the school. Where in the school? Are they a teacher? A student? In the school. Where in the school? In front of Wednesday? Behind her? To the left? The right? In the school. In the school. In the school.

"Wednesday," Aloria placed her hand on her shoulder. "Are you okay?"

It was Monday and her and Aloria were in their first class of the day, but she was having trouble focusing. The stalker being in the school was the only thing on her mind since that night. She didn't sleep Saturday night or Sunday night, too on edge and refusing to let her guard down. But thanks to her lack of sleep her panic just continued to increase. She was suspicious of everyone around her and that was starting to extend to her friends though she wished it wasn't.

If the stalker really was someone she knew then that would narrow her suspect pool to like eight people. Weems, Bianca, Yoko, Divina, Kent, Ajax, Xavier, and Eugene. But there was only one among those who would have any actual motive for this; Xavier Thorpe. She did get him falsely arrested and the last time they spoke it was pretty ugly. But was this really something Xavier was capable of? Well, he did hurt Bianca without ever touching her. And there's been no physical harm only psychological. It's possible he's—

No. Was she really going to accuse him of something again? It'd be too obvious for it to be Xavier. Maybe that's just what the stalker wants her to think. Maybe they want her to assume it's Xavier so she doesn't find them. Well, that won't work. But what if she's over thinking it? What if it is Xavier and he's just not that smart? Okay, she won't accuse him yet, but she'll keep an eye on him. If she can find him. She hasn't seen him since arriving back at Nevermore. That in itself was sort of suspicious.

"Wednesday," Aloria gently shook her. "You're scaring me."

Wednesday finally snapped out of her train of thought as she turned to the siren. "Apologies, cara mia, I'm just tired." Not a total lie.

Aloria brought her hand to her cheek and ran her thumb under her eyes. "You look tired. Have you been staying awake?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

"Too many thoughts."

"About losing us?" She remembered their conversation during the thunderstorm.

Wednesday hesitated before answering, "Yes." She was glad when Aloria didn't push her to elaborate and instead kissed her temple.

"I promise you won't. I'll help you sleep tonight." She rested her head on her shoulder as she went back to paying attention to class.

Wednesday hoped to any god that existed that Aloria's promise wouldn't be broken. Now back to the stalker. What if the stalker wasn't someone she knew well, but simply someone she knew of or had met once. Maybe someone who had a grudge against her or Enid or Aloria. But even that only added one more person to the mix. That guy who used to bully Aloria, the one who's leg she broke. He would have a motive for this, but Wednesday really didn't think he was smart enough to pull it off. But she had been wrong before. Xavier and Kinbott being her prime examples from last year. Okay, she'll keep an eye on him too.

Was there not anyone else? Who else at this school did she know? Who else didn't like her or her girlfriends? If the stalker wasn't actively inside the school she could add a few more names to the suspect list like Tyler who she heard escaped or even his father the sheriff though she definitely didn't see him capable of this. But thanks to Skye she knows the stalker is inside the school. It has to be an active student or teacher. But who? Who has the motive to do this and the skill to pull it off? She just didn't know.
