[<3]

today is march 28th, Noah and I's 2nd anniversary.

the morning started with me waking up to a large bouquet of flowers on the bedside table with a note.

a smile makes its way to my lips as lean up to smell the array of flowers. white daisy's, lilac baby's breath and light pink hydrangeas. some of my favorites.

I pick up the note attached and read it.

"my precious evie,

2 years ago I had no idea who you would be to me until i saw you in that crowd. everything about you that night stood out to me. while everyone sang and danced around you, you just watched. you would dance with your friends during songs you knew, but the rest of the time you watched everyone around you with a beautiful smile.
the second we made eye contact, you quite literally changed my life forever. from that second on I couldn't seem to take my eyes of you and to today, I still can't. every crowded room, my eyes search for yours.
2 years ago today I officially made you mine. your entire being still captures my attention as if I was seeing you for the first time. you're everything to me baby and I love every single thing about you, even the fact you randomly found auggie and kept him without a second thought.
today will forever be our day. I'm sorry I have a show tonight, but I promise I have something special planned for the both of us this week. I hope you love the flowers and I ordered you breakfast in bed.
I love you so much baby <3

-noah"

my smile only grows bigger and my eyes water at his sweet gesture. auggie is still sleeping beside me and only wakes when I sit up to eat.

there's a rolling cart next to the bed with food on it under a metal cover. I begin to eat, but message Noah.

me: thank you so much! I love you so much baby! anything I say will never top the note you left. you mean the absolute world to me!! happy anniversary and I'll see you in about an hour ❤️

I sneak up behind Noah during their sound check and jump on his back. it scares him a little but once he finds out it's me, he instantly calms down.

"hey." I whisper in his ear.

"hey baby." he replies back.

I get off his back and he turns to face me.

"thank you for this morning."

"of course baby, I'll do it every year. you deserve it."

we smile at each other before he pulls me into a gentle kiss.

"gross! can't y'all go do that somewhere else?" Jolly whines.

"oh hush Lollipop! stop being such a baby."

I kiss Noah one more time.

"I am not a baby!"

"are too!"

"am not!"

"are too! I win! bye guys!" I quickly head off stage to go help Steven, leaving with the last word.

two days go by as well as two shows. the boys finally have a day off and Noah says he has something planned since we couldn't do it in our anniversary.

a few hours ago he told me to dress nice but comfortable and to bring a jacket. naturally my thought was a pair of black jean shorts, a cropped band tee and an over sized jean jacket.

just as I finish getting ready, there's a knock on the hotel room. Noah went to go get ready in one of the boys rooms so I could stay in our room to get ready.

I grab my bag and open the door to be met with a smiling Noah.

"you look beautiful as always baby." he take my hand and kisses my cheek.

"I could say the same for you." I smile up at him.

"you ready?"

I nod my head and close the hotel door.

we walk to his car and he starts the drive to the secret location.

the drive wasn't very long, just about 20 minutes. he pulls up in front of a hill and I send him a confused look to which he only winks at.

we get out and walk the small trail up the hill, hand in hand. when we reach the top, I'm astonished at the beautiful sight in front of me.

"you did this?"

"yeah, do you like it?"

"baby I love it! thank you." I give him a sweet kiss.

"anything for you."

there was a round table covered by a white tablecloth covered with food, wine and candles.

we both sit down and eat watching as the sun sets on the horizon. the view is gorgeous.

"you know, this is only half of it. the other half is in California."

"oh really? how come? what is it?"

"it'll be more special and you have to wait to find out."

"I love you so much, you know that? the words I want to say are indescribable. there's nothing I can say to describe my love for you. I can't believe I got so lucky to find and to have you. it's so bizarre in the best way possible." I say.

his face brightens with that beautiful smile of his, "I can say the exact same thing."

I look out towards the sunset watching the variety of hues that paint the sky. there's a slight breeze, not enough to make me cold but enough to be glad I brought a jacket.

"it's so beautiful." I say.

"it is."

I look over at him and find him staring at me, "we aren't talking about the same thing, are we?"

"nope." he pops the 'p'
