Denis looked around the room searching for a possibility to have even a chance to leave. His gut twisted at the thought that even possibly Elijah had found Gabby.

A door opened and he could hear faint footsteps.

"You were late?" A voice said faintly.

"Yeah."

"You left earlier than me. How did you show up late?!" The voice exclaimed.

"Can you stop being on my ass? I'm in a pissy mood." The footsteps got louder and the same two men were in his cell. Elijah turned to the other. "I got it."

"Are you sure?"

Elijah crossed his arms, not replying or looking at the other person.

The other person sighed and threw his hands in the air. "Just come talk to me when you're done."

Elijah nodded. "Sure." He waited for the other to leave and he looked at Denis. His face had a cut on his lip and a few scrapes on his cheek. "Where does she live?"

"What happened to you?" Denis asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Your girlfriend. Where does she live?"

"Like I'd tell you." Denis scoffed. He crossed his arms across his chest.

"Its either you tell me, and I make it painless, or you dont and I torture it out of you and then  make it slow for wasting my time." Elijah said sternly.

Denis didn't reply.

Elijah groaned. He muttered to himself practically pulling his hair out and turning away from Denis.

Denis raised his eyebrow. The sudden change in his demeanor shocked him. He glanced at Elijah who bit at his nails. "You're not very intimidating."

"I'm not trying to be." Elijah muttered.

"Then why be here?"

"Because Its my fucking job." Elijah replied sourly. "All I need to know is; Where does your girlfriend live? I'll make it painless."

"I'm sorry.. Are you trying to bribe me into giving you where my girlfriend lives?" Denis asked.

"Yeah.."

Denis looked him up and down. "Your fucking stupid."

Elijah stood by the gate and sighed. He sat down on the floor and got close to the bars. "I'm going to be honest with you. Since your going to die, you can take what i'm about to tell you to the grave."

"How uplifting."

"This is literally my last job, and in order for me to run away from this hell of a job I need this last mission to go as smoothly as possible." Elijah said. "One screw up and I'll have more than this ugly ass scar."

"Run away? Just quit." Denis said. "Plus this  being your last job isn't going to make me want to help you any more than I already want to."

"I can't just quit. My boss will kill me and my family." Elijah said. "I'm not even joking."

"Is that how you got the 'ugly ass scar'?" Denis asked.

Elijah chewed on his thumb nail. "Yeah."

"He tried to kill you but he didn't?"

"It's an incredibly long story that I'm not really feeling like getting into." Elijah said.

"So you want me to give you sympathy for trying to leave a shitty job you signed up for... exchange of my life and my girlfriends?"

Elijah stayed quiet. He grumbled under his breath. "What am I doing?" He stood up. "Listen, I dont even want to kill your girlfriend. She seems nice. You seem bearable."
