You clicked your tongue. "Of course it does." You murmured, slightly disheartened. Suddenly Jack's ears twitched, his tail going stiff and eyes widening. "Shoot! Someone's coming!" He whispered-shouted. Ace's eyes widened. "Ah, crud. Quick, hide!" He said urgently.
Grabbing Grim, you scrambled after the boys into the only hiding place available: under the desk. It went Deuce pressed up against one side, then Ace, then you and Grim, then Jack pressing up against the other end. Due to his large frame, Jack and you couldn't both fit within the small width of the desk so you had to sit on the floor between his legs as his arms were angled to hold the under surface of the desk. The wolf lightly shifted, cheeks red in embarrassment as he lightly sweated at your close proximity.
Ace shifted, his shoulder hitting your back causing you to almost fall into Jack's chest. "So...cramped... Jack, why you gotta be so big?!" The Heartslabyul student complained. Jack growled, lurching forwards to bare his teeth at Ace. "Wanna say that again?" He threatened.
Now your face and upper body was almost completely squished up against Jack's chest, color blooming across your features in absolute embarrassment. Grim's ears twitched at your sudden stiffening form. He glanced up only to see you red in the face with Jack's head hunched over you, glaring at Ace. The cat blinked at you with a blank face.
Suddenly the door clicked opened, footsteps growing louder as the closer the person came. Everyone became deathly still, eyes wide and frightened. "Now, then..." The person mumbled.
Azul's shiny, black shoes came into view. He stopped right in front of the vault, fidgeting with a few knobs and such before the door swung open. The male hummed a light tune, shuffling through a few golden contacts in his hands.
Deuce leaned forwards a bit and, in a hushed tone, whispers, "Hey... Those are the contracts we signed!" Ace sneered. "So he's been keeping 'em in the vault after all." He mumbled angrily. 
"One, two, three... Heh heh heh..." The silver haired male counted with a chuckle. Grim narrowed his eyes at the dorm leader. "He's counting those contracts like they're a wad of bills! Look at that smirk on his face." He said. Jack huffed. "What a twisted pastime..." He mumbled.
Suddenly, Azul let out a breathy sigh. "Ahhh. That's that. I'd better be getting back now." He said with a light smile, placing the contacts onto the desk. After several swift motions, the male closed the safe and walked out, shutting the door behind him.
"Phew!" Everyone breathed out, relief instantly flooding your systems. Grim held his paws up, carefully measuring so his hands were almost touching but not quite. "We were THIS close to gettin' noticed." He claimed.
You all shuffled out from under the desk, seeing that Azul did in fact leave the contracts on the table. Jack's face brightened up. "Wait, look! He left a contract out on the table." He exclaimed. Yet, your eyebrows furrowed together. Would Azul, the man who made a carefully plotted plan, really just leave a contract like this out in the open? It just didn't make sense.
However, Ace didn't seem to notice or care. "For real?! Lucky us! Let's swipe it and see if we can tear it up." He said, taking a step forward with a smile. 
Grim hopped onto the table. "Who knew Azul was so sloppy with his stuff? Let's see what we got here..." He mumbled, reaching out with the rest of the boys to grab the contract. "Wait, guys, don't!" You yelled in concern, not liking the circumstances and coincidences of this situation.
