The party is in full swing, as Kaleb and Jed are singing a song that they wrote. Hope is walking up the driveway, "Now, I only need to talk to my cousins and convince them to do the spell," she mutters. Going around the back of the school, she finds the entire student body celebrating. Grace and Lizzie are making out and Hope comes up to the pair. Hope clears her throat, Grace and Lizzie break apart and the blonde gives her a look. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Lizzie asks. The record scratches as Kaleb acting as DJ realizes that something is wrong. "Better question. Who are you?" Grace asks, a sly smirk making its way onto her face. "Unbelievable," Hope whispers.

Klaus and Hayley exchange a look, "What are you guys up to," Hayley asks. "Nothing," Grace says. Kol clears his throat, "Next time you want to deny being up to anything, try not to answer so quickly," he says. Grace makes a face and nods, "I'll know for then," she says.  "We are only teasing Hope a little bit," she says.

In the headmaster's office Hope is standing across from Alaric, Kaleb, Kai her cousins and the twins. "It's a long story," Hope says. "This is all very confusing," Alaric says. "Because you're drunk. And I really need you to focus. This is a matter of life and death," Hope says her anger getting the better of her for a second. "First things first...I'm only buzzed. Secondly, you haven't told any of us why we should believe anything that you said, Miss... Hope, right?" Alaric says. "Mikaelson, actually. Klaus's daughter," Hope says. Grace and Faith exchange a look, "Vampires can't have babies," Lizzie says. "Says the daughter of Caroline Forbes and the girlfriend of Kol Mikaelson's daughter," Hope snaps. Lizzie gasps, "Hope Andrea Mikaelson," Lizzie exclaims. Hope's eyes widen, "Oops," Lizzie says. "How long have you known," Hope asks. "Since we were having a conversation about you when you went through," Grace says. "We need to talk," Hope says. "I'd say so," Grace and Faith say in unison. "Would you like to know what should have been your first clue that we knew," Grace asks her cousin as they leave the office. Hope gives Grace a look and then raises her eyebrows at Faith. Grace snaps her fingers as the three Mikaelson look out the window to the illuminated balloons. Hope gasps at the 'Good Riddance' balloons. Grace smirks at her cousin's expression. "That's not for temporarily defeating Malivore is it," Hope asks. "Nope," Faith mutters.

Klaus and Hayley look at Grace. "Hope's right, it was not funny," Klaus says. "The balloons are though," Grace says. Klaus shrugs, "A little," he says.

Three Weeks Later

The school is shown at night time, Alaric is his office studying grimoires. Hope, Faith and Grace are in the auburn haired Mikaelson's dorm. "We need to tie up the loose ends," Grace says. "Which means we need to destroy any way that Landon can come back," Faith says. "Landon is the only link to Malivore," Hope says. "Without Landon, Malivore cannot come back," Grace says. The three girls nod at each other and then turn to the twins. Lizzie and Josie nod, "You guys have it all planned out," Lizzie says. "Well, it was not a coincidence that I had Grace's blood on hand," Hope says.

"You planned to kill Landon," Elena exclaims. "Yes," Grace says. "But he is your guy's friend," Stefan argues. "And his existence may cause the end of the supernatural world as we know it," Faith says. "So we apologize for ending the problem before it became an actual problem," Hope adds.

"The Salvatore School was built for one purpose...to protect young vampires, witches and werewolves from a world that would do them harm. But it has grown beyond that mission," Alaric's voice announces. "Recently my students were forced to save the very world that has forced them into hiding. And we lost one of our own. Now we intend to find him, no matter what the cost. So school's out until we do. There was a time when I would have told you that one life is a small price to pay for saving an entire town. But then I became a father. A father figure to my students," his voice continues. Alaric yawns and begins to fall asleep, "And we will not rest until we know what happened to Landon Kirby," he finishes as he falls asleep. After some time, in the office, Alaric's phone goes off, claiming that someone was found. He checked the message and then went to the Mikaelson girls dorm. "Hope. I've got an idea," Alaric says. Hope, Faith and Grace exchange a look. "I'll go," Hope says.

Hope and Alaric get out of the car at a pawn shop, "We're looking for Pinky," Alaric says after the door closes behind them. "You found him. But I'm closed," the man says. Hope raises her eyebrows, "Weird. Your sign says you're open 24 hours a day," the auburn haired girl comments. Pinky gulps as he looks at Hope, "Been meaning to get a new sign," he says. "Well, we'll be gone as soon as we have what we came for," Alaric says. Pinky chuckles as he opens a case and pulls out a box. "What the hell is that?" Hope asks. "Well, a gift for you, I'm guessing. A little young, don't you think, pal?" Pinky says. "Oh, gross," Hope winces. "Hey, it's none of my business," Pinky says. "Because your real business is selling black-market supernatural artifacts," Alaric says. "The kid should wait in the car," Pinky says changing his posture. Hope smirks and lets her eyes change to yellow and she sends blue magic around her fingertips. "That won't be necessary," she says. "Yeah. I see that. Why don't you l-lock the door?" Pinky says.

Klaus and Hayley growl lowly at the man on the screen, "Ew," Caroline mutters. Grace and Faith exchange a look and then look back at the blonde vampire. She gives them a look, "What," she asks. Grace shakes her head, shifting her focus to Alaric and then her Uncle Nik. "Nothing," the dark haired Mikaelson says.

After looking in the boxes around the store for fifteen minutes, Hope throws down a supernatural artifact. "It's not in here," she mutters. "Then try being a little more specific about what you're after," Pinky suggests. "All we know is that it's some sort of vessel," Alaric says. "Like a ship?" Pinky asks. "Like a jar," Hope deadpans. "Or a container or a vase. Look, the translation's been a bit of a bitch," Alaric says. The older man sighs, "But maybe you've heard the story. Whatever's inside this thing 'can grant your heart's most impossible desire,' and that's a direct quote..." Alaric says. "I think," he adds uncertainly after a moment. "Buddy...if-if I had something like that, why would I sell it?" Pinky says. "You do...and you will," Hope replies. Pinky gives her a look, "Your heart started to race when you found out what it does. I heard it, which means that you still have it, so now we're just negotiating the price," Hope says. "Then here's my offer," Pinky says pulling a gun out from behind the counter. "You don't make another move," Alaric says pulling a weapon out as well. Pinky chuckles, "Sorry, pal. But it looks like you brought a knife to a gun fight," he says. "It's a ballistic knife. So put the shotgun down or you're gonna get this blade shot through your skull," Alaric threatens. Hope rolls her eyes and begins chanting, "Tenebris anima vestra contundito mortem..." she whispers. Pinky begins to choke and he drops the gun in an effort to relieve the pain. Hope continues chanting and Alaric gives her a look, "All right, Hope, stop," Alaric says. Hope does not stop and remains focused on the task. "That's a death spell, Hope, don't!" Alaric exclaims. Alaric having no luck with changing Hope's method turns to the man, "Hey, man, get out of here...the spell won't work if she can't see you," Alaric tells Pinky. The store owner leaves his own store to escape the Mikaelson's terror. Hope rolls her eyes as the spell breaks, "Relax. I was just scaring him," Hope says. "And me," Alaric adds. "You want to do whatever it takes to get Landon back, right," Hope asks. Alaric nods, "This is what it takes," Hope says. "Sometimes we cannot choose the reformed serial killer way," Hope taunts. "So if you don't want to do whatever it takes, stay the hell out of my way," Hope says. Alaric uses his weapon to knock Hope unconscious temporarily.

"You are not helping Alaric get Landon back," Elena says. "You are tying up loose ends," she adds. "As aforementioned," Jen starts. "Landon is the key to bringing back Malivore. So keeping him dead is the best possible plan," Jen adds. "What about not telling Alaric the plan," Elena asks. "Or any authority figure for that matter," Damon adds. The six girls exchange a look, "We do eventually tell someone," Grace says. "Just not Dad," Josie and Lizzie say in unison.
