New Orleans

Kol and Klaus exchange a look as they hear Rebekah comes upstairs. Kol uses his vampire speed to cover the wall with the spell on it. Rebekah walks in the room, "I heard the alarms stop, what happened," the blonde Original asks. "Nothing," Klaus says. Rebekah glared at her hybrid brother, "Don't lie," she says. Kol shakes his head, "He's right, Bekah," Kol adds. "Whatever problem they were in, they got out of it," Klaus says, picking up where Kol left off. Rebekah's eyes darken, "I have spent the last thousand years with you, Nik," Rebekah starts before turning to Kol. "And you," she adds. "So I know when the two of you are lying," she says. "Like I said, I have know you for the last thousand years, so I know torture," she says as she heads out of the room. "I think you mean know how to torture," Klaus argues. Rebekah turns to her brothers, "You wish that is what I meant," she says as she leaves the room. Kol turns to Klaus immediately, "Her temper is worse than yours, we have to be careful," the younger Original says. Klaus shakes his head, "We have to tell her," the hybrid says. Kol shakes his head, "I have to tell her," Kol says.

Kol and Klaus look at their younger sister, "You would not torture us for information," Klaus says. "Right," Kol adds. Rebekah smirks, "The two of you heal quickly," she says. "And like I said, I spent a thousand years with the two of you," Rebekah says. "Truth spell," Faith coughs. "You are not allowed to mention that because your cousins were going to lie to us about how you died," Kol says.

Mystic Falls

Landon and Raf are in their dorm, "Come on, Raf. You were literally the only person to be able to pick up the sword after the MIkaelson girls killed the Green Knight," Landon says excitedly. "That means we know you're descended from King Arthur's bloodline," the phoenix adds. Raf rolls his eyes, "Look, I don't understand how you're not into this. If I knew I was descended from kings..." Landon trails off. "That's always been the difference between you and me, Lan. You've always wanted to be special. I've just wanted to be normal," Raf says, "Have a...a home, friends and a family. And look, now that we have that, I don't need some fantasy role-playing to tell me where I come from," Raf says. "This is history," Landon mutters. "And after all we've been through, look, I'm done looking back," Raf says. Landon puts his hands up in agreement, "Okay, fine, can you just give me my book back, please?" Landon asks. Raf holds the novel above his own head, "This book?" he asks. Landon laughs, "Yes, that book," Landon says. "Just give me the book," he adds. The two supernaturals begin to playfully spar, "Wait, wait, no," Landon says as he realizes he is going to lose this fight. Raf puts his best friend into a gentle headlock, "Stop, stop. Raf, let go now," Landon says. "I can't hear you. I-I can't hear you," Raf says joking. "Raf, stop," Landon says breaking the werewolf's hold. Landon wipes blood off of his face and looks up at the werewolf. "What?" Raf asks. Landon points to his friend's nose, following the line between his face and Landon's hand, he finds the blood flowing from his nose. The two supernaturals look at each other as Raf begins to cough as he loses stability.

"It's starting to happen," Elijah says. "We know how to solve problems," Grace says. "Even if the solutions come from a seven year old who does not realize that he is helping," Lizzie adds. The blonde siphon witch and the dark haired Mikaelson turn to nod at Nikolai.

Grace leans against the door frame of the art studio in the Mikaelson mansion while Hope sits on a stool with a half painted landscape in front of her. "Can't sleep," the auburn haired Mikaelson asks. Grace breathes out a laugh, "Not exactly," she says. Grace takes a step into the art studio and Hope taps the stool next to her, offering the space to her cousin. Grace sits, "What about you," she asks. "I was in a coma, I thought I got a pass," Hope whispers. Grace laughs, "I suppose," the dark haired Mikaelson says as she appraises her cousins painting. "The white oak tree," Grace asks. Hope nods, "It feels like it is missing something," Hope says. "Flames," Grace says after a moment. Hope smiles, and uses her magic to open a cupboard across the studio. One by one, fire colored hues move to the two girls. "You know for someone who says that they don't like art, you are good at it," Hope says as she lightly dabs the different colors onto her paint palette. Grace smiles, "Well, Uncle Nik did say I had a nack for it," Grace says. "Ah, yes and if Dad planned the art classes a day before, you would still enjoy it," Hope retorts. Grace smiles, "He should have known," Grace whispers. Hope turns back to the painting and begins working on it again. The two Mikaelsons sitting in a comfortable silence, the only sound the paint brush as it crossed the canvas.

"Should have known what," Davina asks. "Saturdays were reserved," Grace says with a smile. "Reserved for what exactly," Freya asks. "Magic lessons," Faith says. "And no matter how many times it was offered to change the day, someone did not want to change it," Hope adds. "Darling, you have to learn to adjust a little," Kol says assuming that his daughter was the one who did not want the change. "It was you, Kol," Finn says. Kol looks at his brother as realization kicks in, he enjoyed teaching the girls especially Grace different spells almost as much as they enjoyed learning them.

Kaleb and Alaric are standing in the headmaster's office looking down at Chad's prone body. "Found him by the back gate this morning," Kaleb says. "I just, I don't get it. I thought you said Chad was walking and talking yesterday. Why does he look like he's been dead for three months?" Kaleb asks. Alaric sighs, "Because he has been. The Necromancer was keeping him alive until I did the deal with him," Alaric mutters. "Why would Dollar Store Jack Sparrow set him free one day just to turn around and kill him the next?" Kaleb asks. "I don't know," Alaric says. "Dr. Saltzman," Landon calls out as he supports Raf's weakening body.

"There is an easier solution," Klaus says. Hope turns to her dad, "What is your solution," she asks. Klaus gestures to himself, then to Hayley and finally to Tyler. Hope looks at Grace, the dark haired Mikaelson shrugs. "I did not think you wanted to hear it," she says. "After what happened the first time you turned someone," the girl continues. "What," Klaus and Hayley ask in unison. Grace and Hope wince, "Sorry," she says to her cousin.
