".. Wait.. For real? That must be horrible."
"It is"
"What are you doing about it? Did you speak to him yet?"
"No Jimin I can't just do that"
"Why not!? If he broke up you at least should know the reason why!"the smaller male said a bit upset, shaking his head and walking around to move stuff from one to another location, Jungkook just watching.
"I guess.. But I don't wanna make him uncomfortable. It's so awkward already."
"Since when are you that considerate of his feelings?" the smaller now questioned a bit surprised.
He hadn't seen Jungkook in years and was catching up with him even while he was working.
"I don't know.. Tell me what to do."
"What to do? Just talk to him!.. You.. Did get over him by now right?"
Jungkook staring at Jimin who looked at him a bit unsure and hesitantly nodding his head.
In those four years he kinda got over it, moved on and also had some short relationships going, which didn't last long however.
He wasn't sure why but whoever he tried it with, it didn't feel right. No relationship seemed to compare to Yoongis and his.
"You aren't lying to me are you..? Jungkook come on! As if you're still in love after he randomly decided to break up and left you completely hanging!"
"Why do you now make it seem like it's my fault!? I can't change my fucking feelings like a light switch!"
"No but-"
"Woah are you two arguing? Just a week after meeting again and you already start fighting." Taehyung sighed, patting Jungkooks shoulder.
"What's this about?"
"Nothing I'm-" Jungkook started only for Jimin to cut him off.
"He's still in love with Yoongi and now works with him in the same office."
Taehyung was dead silent, only having a dramatically shocked look on his face, Jungkook trying his best to not get upset at Jimin for telling the older.
".. How the fucking hell are you still in love after four years of the breakup!? "
"I never said I was in love.. I'm just.. Kinda interested."
"Interested? Like wanting a quick fuck or interested in a relationship?" Jimin now asked, Jungkook not answering that and instead pointing at some more boxes.
"Do your job instead of questioning me!"
"Tsk fucking asshole" Jimin mumbled, still doing what told however while Taehyung now pulled Jungkook to the side. 
"Jungkook.. Please please don't do anything stupid. Even if you still like him, just don't try anything. You're his boss now, you have to be professional."
"I know that Tae.. But what if he does show interest in me after all and-" 
"No. You seriously want the same thing to happen again? Jimin and I both worried so much because you kept crying for an whole week before you decided to join the training program. Hell he doesn't even tell you the reason why he broke up! That's a fucking no go. If he still tries a move after that tell him to fuck off!"









A usual day of work, a knock and Jungkook lifted his head to look towards the door for a second. 
"Come in"
The door opening and the small male walking inside with some documents in his hands, walking in front of the desk where Jungkook sat and stared at his computer screen. 
".. Could you perhaps give me some signatures on those papers.. Mr. Jeon?" 
The voice making Jungkook look up at the smaller male, for a second looking at him before taking the documents and humming a bit. 
"Of course." 
A simple short answer, Yoongi standing around in the office and waiting for Jungkook. 
"By the way, tomorrow evening could we perhaps go out to-" 
Jungkook widened his eyes, immediately trying to process what Yoongi was trying to ask and remembering what Taehyung had told him. 
"Fuck no. I'm not interested." 
Yoongi however looked utterly lost at that response not too sure why Jungkook just cursed and seemed so upset. 
".. You.. Aren't interested in your own welcome party?" 
"What..?" 
"your welcome party.. We didn't have it yet and usually we make suggestions where we could go out to eat or if we order some food. Most of us thought that perhaps we could go out to eat at that Chinese restaurant near the bus stop tomorrow evening to celebrate.." Yoongi explained, Jungkook biting in his bottom lip a bit embarrassed that he just assumed that Yoongi tried to ask him out on a date. 
He totally forgot the welcome party because of the cat boy. 
"I'm sorry.. That's a great idea actually." Jungkook corrected his mistake, clearing his throat and quickly giving a few more signatures to hand the documents back. 
Gosh was Jungkook acting like an idiot again. All because of Min Yoongi. 
He tried so hard to treat the older like everyone else, but whatever he did he kept interpreting things wrong, got distracted or made the situation awkward as hell. 


Day after day, seeing the smaller and having to work with him as if he wasn't just totally going insane on the inside of his mind. 
Was Jungkook starting to act a bit weird? 
Kinda. 
He wanted to treat Yoongi so normal and casual, yet he kept finding excuses to somehow get Yoongi inside his office, just to stare at the smaller or exchange a few words. 
Jungkook really thought he was ready to move on, leave Yoongi in his past, but now that the cat boy was right in front of him again, Jungkook couldn't help but have some intrusive thoughts. 
What if he just asked him out on a date? 
What if he just confessed his feelings once again? 
What if he just pushed his lips back on yoongis as if they never broke up? 
"Yoongi could you stay a bit longer today? Since some are ill we are falling a bit behind and some help would be great." Jungkook spoke, leaning against the wall near Yoongis desk and staring at the smaller, unintentionally eyeing him up and down as if to check him out. 
"No problem." Of course Yoongi couldn't say no.
So there be was at 6pm, with only a few other people and Jungkook who sat with them to help them with some stuff and check on everything. 
Hour after hour, people slowly leaving and Jungkook eventually ending up besides Yoongi, sitting in an chair and taking a few looks at some papers, every now and then moving his eyes to stare at Yoongi, the smaller taking notice of it but not really able to say anything. 
Yoongi was pretty sure that he and Jungkook now only would be Boss and employee. Nothing else. 
He still felt weird, yet he had to focus to do his job. 
What even was he doing? 
He sat besides Jungkook, the guy he loved since college and now felt just awkward since his feelings hadn't changed a lot. 
He liked Jungkook, a lot actually, but based on their past he was pretty sure that Jungkook wasn't interested anymore. 
He wasn't upset about it however, neither was he dissapointed. 
After all, all of this happened because of Yoongis own decision.
