Chapter 65: The RWBY Quiz

                                    

                                          

Everyone in Cappy Town was minding their own business one day when they heard a report from King Dedede.
"Hey everyone, we're introducing a new program called the RWBY Quiz Challenge! If you think you've got what it takes to win, then brush up on your RWBY RWBY RWBY trivia and sign up today! Five different teams of two will be chosen! So come on down folks, you might just win first prize!" Escargoon announced.
A lot of people were naturally suspicious after the horrible show Dedede had released that butchered their story, but they still tried to sign up anyways for the prize. At the competition, the five teams were announced. Team Rose had Kirby and Ruby Rose, Team Flower had Ren and Nora, Team Top Hat had the Mayor and Kawasaki, and Team Moon was Fololo and Falala, and Team Diamond was Dedede and Escargoon.
"Go Diamond Team! Go Diamond Team!" Waddle Doo cheered as the Waddle Dees held cutouts of Dedede's face, six of them even had each letter of Dedede's name painted on them.
"Tonight's MC is a guy you all know and loathe! Let's give it up for Sales Guy!" Escargoon announced.
The Nightmare Enterprises Sales Guy appeared on screen, wearing a Beacon Academy uniform as he sat on his knees.
"I refuse to believe that's his real name," Ruby responded, unamused.
"Poyo," Kirby nodded in a similar too. "I don't think so either Aunt Ruby."
"That should've been us up there as the MCs," Professor Port complained.
"You know my voice doesn't feel great right now," Dr. Oobleck reminded him.
"I'll be hosting tonight's RWBY quiz and I just know we'll have a rockin good time!" the Sales Guy cheered. "Without further ado, let's all have some fun, everyone! Time for round one of the RWBY Quiz Challenge! First question, so listen carefully. Where did Yang Xiao Long first find her son Kirby, prompting her to adopt him?"
Team Moon thought the answer was Mistral, Team Flower knew the answer was Vale, and then Team Top Hat took the wild guess of Vacuo.
"That's easy, it's also the same city where I got to meet my adorable nephew for the first time!" Ruby smiled at Kirby.
"Poyo, poyo!" Kirby smiled back. "I'll never forget meeting Aunt Ruby either!"
"It was Vale for sure," Escargoon told Dedede.
"Mistral!" Dedede laughed, ignoring Escargoon, much to the snail's horror.
"What could the correct answer be? Go to the video!" the Sales Guy prompted.
The video displayed Kirby crash landing in his ship in Vale before it blew up and launched him in a dumpster. Yang then found him and thought he was adorable, secretly adopting him as her own. Everyone awed at the video, finding it wholesome. In the audience, the other members of Team RWBY especially enjoyed seeing the video since they got to see what led to the blessing of Kirby being in their lives.
"As you may recall, Kirby ended up flying off from Dreamland where he sped toward Remnant. But even though his ship may have crash landed in the kingdom of Vale, he finally found his family there! The correct answer is Vale!"
Escargoon quickly changed his answer to Vale to get the points.
"The Rose, Flower, and Diamond Teams got that one right!"
Dedede laughed, unaware how Escargoon saved their bacon. The audience then cheered, already having fun.
"Question number two. Which monster from Nightmare Enterprises did Team RWBY first fight?"
