(Note: While I love Kirby Right Back at Ya!, I absolutely hated the episode Tooned Out, even with the censorships 4Kidz did to that particular episode, I still thought it was very creepy so it will not be canon to this story.)
"Being king of Dreamland ain't enough!" Dedede complained.
"But sire, what more could you possibly want?" Escargoon asked.
"I want me proper cartoon! But we can't rely only on them no talent Cappies this time! We need other artists to help too!" Dedede answered.
"You're right that the Cappy talent pool was shallow. A snake could slither through it and not get his belly wet! But they're still the only choice we have, Nightmare Enterprises hasn't ever allowed contract animators to be loaned out, and the only other people we know are all the way on Remnant! We can't just bring them here after you ordered Meta Knight to destroy his battleship!" Escargoon reminded him.
"Hey...wait just a minute, how did them Remnant people arrive in Dreamland for Kirby's welcome home party?" Dedede realized.
"Hey, you're right! Even with a ship they couldn't have gotten here that fast! They must have a way to get here quickly thanks to that magic of theirs!" Escargoon agreed.
"Then along with the Cappies, we gonna get ourselves some alien animators too!"
The king and his righthand snail then confronted Yang while she was spending time with Kirby.
"Yo, how did you get them Remnant people here for Kirby's welcome home party?!" Dedede demanded.
Yang gasped, worried he knew that she was using his throne room when she and Kirby wanted to visit his aunts on Remnant.
"What do you mean?" Yang asked, trying to play dumb.
"You know perfectly well your little co-conspirators couldn't fly to Dreamland from Remnant that quickly! Frankly we don't care how you do it but just get them back as soon as you can, we've got a cartoon to make!" Escargoon demanded.
Yang was later back on Remnant with Kirby as she told them how the king wanted to make a cartoon.
"I don't see why we have to help him," Weiss remarked.
"Well, he is already roping most of the Cappies into helping him too. But the last cartoon they made was really bad so I don't want to see them embarrassing themselves again, especially since Tiff refuses to help at all this time," Yang admitted.
"Well, I guess I am good at drawing," Blake admitted.
"Ooh, maybe we could even make the cartoon's story based on the story of Remnant!" Ruby suggested.
Many of the Remnant citizens seemed to like that idea so a good number of them agreed to help at DDD Productions. Dedede announced that he was the producer, making him in charge of everyone, while Escargoon was his director.
"Are there any questions?" Dedede yelled.
"Yeah, what time is lunch exactly?" Neptune asked as Dedede facepalmed.
He then ordered everyone into a production meeting. He tried to announce Dedede Man would be the main character again. Of course, Team RWBY thought the drawing of Dedede Man was hideous as well.
"Yeah?! Well who else is gonna be the heroes?!" Dedede demanded.
"Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby smiled while pointing at Team RWBY.
"We don't want it to be a horror show!" Dedede insulted them before laughing.
However, he was outvoted since everyone else seemed to like that idea, although Raven still grumbled how no one thought her idea for a show about a brave and merciful bandit on the run from an evil queen was realistic.
