Calvin and the boy who asked him to help get ammunition, Leaf, ran down the hall, arms full of nerf guns and chocolate milk. Behind them, the sound of pounding footsteps chased after them. Their faces were bright red as they opened the bathroom door. Calvin ran into the big stall while Leaf locked the door.
"Remind me again... why... we stole... their chocolate... milk." Leaf huffed, his face bright red. Calvin started laughing as his breathing slowly went back to its normal pace.
"Cause it's fun." he said as he began picking the lock again.
"No it isn't. Math is fun. Science is fun. Stealing chocolate milk from people who could shake us is not fun." Leaf said, walking down the dark hall.
"Party pooper." Calvin muttered as he entered the hall, closing the door behind him.
When they entered the hideout, Leaf was immediately dragged away by Thale who had a question about something in his notebook. Baldhart looked up from her pillow to see Calvin walking to a corner. She stood up, following Calvin.
"Where did you go?" she asked quietly. Calvin didn't answer, instead, he motioned his head to the nerf guns in his arms. Baldharts eyes widened. "What do you need those for?"
"Well," he said, putting the nerf guns in a toy box. "We don't like the fifth graders being mean to us. We want vengeance." His eyes darkened as he walked to the juice table, placing the chocolate milks by the juice. He walked to the table Leaf, Thale, Tyson, and Jorgelino were gathered around. "What are we working on?" He asked.
"The chocolate milk and crayons problem." Tyson said, not looking up from his drawing of the playground.
