I woke up on a bed, while I was asleep I got some rest but I was not fully myself. The last thing I remember happening before I passed out was seeing Drake. I started to recount everything that happened with David, I realized I made a mistake by letting him help me. I was trying to fully understand what happened but I could not. I was not angry anymore, even though I should be angry with everything that happened, it was as if a part of me was missing.
Drake walked into the room and came to me. I was so happy to see him and at the same time I thought of what happened to last time he saw me, the way he looked at me.
"You are awake," he said to me.
I did not say anything, I just kept on looking at him, I did not know what to say or what was on his mind. I was scared that maybe the way he saw me have changed.
"I brought breakfast for you, I guess you will have breakfast in bed." Drake said, lifting the food up.
Because of what he just said I realized that it was morning. From the look of things and the way he talked to me it seemed like the way he saw me have not changed.
"How did you find me?" I asked curiously while trying to sit up.
"Well luckily I saw something flying in the sky and immediately I knew it was you so I followed you till I saw you crash down. I carried you to my house and here we are." He explained.
"What about your parents are they around?"
"No, they went out of town for a work trip so they wont be back for some weeks." He replied.
"Oh, okay. Umm, about the last time you saw me, I am really sorry about that." I said slowly.
"Its cool, I mean it was really something but I realized that you must be going through a lot so I let it go."
I was so relieved with what he said and I felt relaxed. "I need to tell you something.' I said.
"Yeah I know, you have a lot to tell me but before you do that, have breakfast first then you can tell me everything."
He placed the food on the bed and sat next to me. I took the food and started to eat, I did not realized how hungry I was and I did not know the last time I ate something. At some point I stopped and looked at Diego and he was just staring at me.
"Are you alone here?" I asked.
"No not really, my little bro is downstairs playing. He were surprised when he saw me bringing you into the house, he will definitely tell my parents," he smiled.
"Will it get you in trouble?" I asked.
"Not really, it's nothing I can't handle. You know, I really miss the old days, spending time with you normally."
"I would give anything right now to go back to the way things were before but I guess that can't happen because I have no control over my whole life."
"I guess everything is going to be okay eventually."
"Honestly I don't really know about that."
When I finished the food, Drake took the plate from me. "Alright, I will take this downstairs to the kitchen, I will be back." He said.
He left the room after saying that. I started to look around the room, clearly it was his room and the bed was really comfortable. I felt relaxed and I had not felt this way in long time, I guess Drake had his ways of making me feel this okay. I wished that I would not have to leave this room but I knew eventually I would have to. After a while Drake came in and sat down next to me.
"How are you now?" he asked.
"I really dont know, but I guess I am better now compared to how I felt before," I answered.
