When Joseph returned with Ajax, Aloria screamed his name and jumped into his arms wrapping her legs around his waist, forcing him to catch her. He laughed and spun in a circle making her laugh too.
Wednesday and Enid watched from the bed. "I know we shouldn't be jealous," Wednesday began.
"But we totally are, right?" Enid crossed her arms as Wednesday nodded in agreement.
They finally stopped spinning and Ajax set her down. "Ah it's so great to see you again," he smiled. He then turned to Joseph who was watching with a smile. "Thanks for bringing me."
Joseph patted his shoulder. "Not a problem, son." He then gave Aloria one last hug. "Okay, I'm gonna go. I'll come back around ten to see how everything's going and see when I'm returning people home. I love you, sweetie."
"Love you too, dad."
Joseph stepped back and green smoke engulfed him and he was gone.
Ajax rubbed his hands together as he looked at Aloria excitedly. "So what's the plan?"
Aloria shrugged. "Well, party planning is going on downstairs so I'm not allowed down there. Last I checked Kent was in his room sulking about being single if you wanted to hang with him. I'm kind of trapped in here, but . . ." She glanced back at Wednesday and Enid with a smirk ". . . it's not the worst thing." She turned back to Ajax. "You can chill with us, but I don't know how comfortable you'd be fourth wheeling."
"Well, as long as you guys don't start makin' out and gettin' handsy I don't mind." He walked over to her PlayStation set up and started looking through her games. "Got any multiplayer games we can play? Ya know, all four of us?"
Aloria joined him. "Hmm, I should have a few. Hey, how about Gang Beasts? I played that with Kent and Divina and we were laughing our asses off."
"Bet." Ajax took out the current disk and put in Gang Beasts while Aloria grabbed everyone a controller.
Wednesday didn't want to play until Aloria said the point of the game was to basically kill everyone else and be the last one standing. They all got comfortable on the bed or floor and began playing. It was all fun and games until Ajax realized he was being targeted by Wednesday.
When he mentioned it Wednesday only smirked and replied, "Why ever would you think that?" She then proceeded to throw his character off the rooftop.
For someone who hates technology, Wednesday was surprisingly good at the game and won most rounds. Yet whenever she and Aloria were the last ones standing she always seemed to lose. Coincidence? The others didn't think so.
While they played Kent poked his head in the room, confused about all the ruckus. Upon seeing three extra people in Aloria's room, he yelled about no one telling him a bunch of people were over which then led to them telling him why which then led to him yelling about no one telling him it was Aloria's birthday. Aloria told him it was his fault for leaving during breakfast which he didn't take too kindly too. He got all dramatic about the pain of being single, honestly, it was like watching a really bad soap opera. At least it made everyone laugh. Ajax had to cheer him up by sacrificing his remote to the siren so he could play a few rounds. But Aloria felt bad for Ajax now not getting to play so she gave her remote to him which led to Enid giving hers to Aloria which led to Wednesday giving hers to Enid and then Kent giving his to Wednesday and then back to Ajax giving his to Kent. Once they realized they went in a full circle they all burst out laughing. Well, except for Wednesday who just scoffed and shook her head with a small smile.
That's when Yoko and Divina came into the room saying everything was ready. They hadn't realized how much time had passed. They all headed downstairs but Aloria was confused to find no decorations.
