I woke up, but Tonowari wasn't there, I got up feeling a bit off but just chalked it up to all the emotions from yesterday
"Tonowari? Baby are you still here?" I called out as I walked out of our room just to see him walk back in
"Hey where'd you go, you know I hate waking up without you" I said as I wrapped my arms around his waist, leaning my chin on his chest so I could look up at him
"I'm sorry love I had to go talk to some of the older woman of the tribe" he said as he ran his fingers through my hair
I flutter my eyes shut just taking in the moment
"Are you feeling okay?" He asked
"Ya, why? Can't I just enjoy being held by you" I laughed 
"Of course baby, just making sure you're okay after yesterday"
"I'm...feeling better about that, just having you hold me close makes me feel a thousand times better, just knowing you still want me means everything even though you had to put everything on the line"
"I'd lay my life on the line for you my goddess" he said kneeling infront of me as if I were holy for him to be in the presence of and it made me giggle
"Oh stop, I'm not worth that much" I said leaning forward placing my hands on his shoulders
"Don't say that, I truly would die for you if I had to, I'd do anything to make sure you and this baby are safe"
I looked at him, not knowing if I heard him right
"Wait what did you say?" I asked my fingers shaking
"I felt it last night when I placed my hand on your belly and that's why I went to talk to the woman, I believe you are carrying my child" he said standing back up looking deep into my eyes
It felt like all the air was taken from my lungs
"A baby, I'm having a little baby" I cried, I've always wanted a little bundle of joy, to love and give all my affection to
"We are having a baby"
"How do we make sure, how do we get hard proof that I'm pregnant" I asked as I gently placed my hand on my belly
"My mother would know but I don't know if we should go to her yet, she barely took our mating well, to spring this on her right away might change her mind about us together"

He then placed his hand over mine
"Ya you're probably right, we can wait, I just can't believe this" I said still trembling with adrenaline, love and excitement 
"Come the water will help calm you" he said as he picked me up and walked down to the shore, we got strange stares from some members but I really didn't care right now
He walked into the water gracefully, gently laying my down, so I was floating but he still had his hands under me helping me stay on the surface
He moved me around, so the water rippled around us but not enough to splash
I looked at him smiling
"I can swim"
"I know but I just want you to relax, plus I love watching how the water welcomes you like you were always meant to be apart of it" he says smiling
He continued to pull me through the water for about an hour and it did really help me calm down
"Feeling better my angel?"
"Much, can we go to the beach now?"
"Of course" he scooped me up effortlessly and walked up back to the beach
He sat down and laid me so I was laying in the sand with my head resting in his lap
"Do you think it'll be a boy or girl?" I asked
"I don't care, either or I'll still love the baby no matter what"
