I think Kye and Dari have been fighting since they were little, they just got more aggressive now that their older
~Kye's POV~
Well shit,  just got comfortable too I had sat on Dari's lap, she couldn't see us though we had hidden in the back. 
~No one POV~
She practically ran into the principals office "MR. CASTILLO WHERE ARE THEY." He sighed angrily "Miss. They aren't here, I was told Kye has been staying at Dari's house and they had to go in for a check up. They aren't going to be here till after your class, now leave you still have a class." She was mad "They were here this morning." Castillo replied passive aggressively "They checked in with me before school because it was an on the spot thing that hadn't been planned," She honestly was surprised that they weren't in here and left. After a minute or so everyone burst out laughing.
~Time skip~
~Dari's POV~
I called my mom to tell her I'm staying at Kye's house, obviously she had to make it weird by saying something like 'Use protection' even though we don't actually do it very often because we're still teenagers though old enough to do it. Once I got off the phone I went to the kitchen and wrapped my arms around Kye's waist, who is shirtless; he's normally shirtless if he's at his house, and started leaving butterfly kisses on his neck. I asked him "Whatcha making?" He smiled softly and replied with "Potato soup," I kissed his cheek "Sounds delicious." We sat there for awhile in the same position, neither noticed the sound of a car pulling up the driveway or the key in the door. We didn't even notice when two people came into the house. When I finally heard someone or something behind me I turned and saw two people standing in the kitchen door frame with a more shocked look than I had. I turned back towards Kye he looked scared, absolutely horrified. He just stammered out "Amou? Father? What are you doing back in America!?" The man spoke first, "I have a better question, who is he and why is he acting like your lover?!" I whispered towards Kye, "I thought you told them you liked men and had a boyfriend?" He gulped and mumbled, "I told them I had a partner... I left out the gay and boyfriend part.."

When you were trying to find a photo for this chapter so you go from Pinterest to reading 9-10 chapters of manga to tiktok hero x villain scenarios then back to Pinterest than back to safari then back to Pinterest again. It was a pain to find that photo 😭😭
