Enid notices Wednesday has been spending too much time with Xavier

I watched as Xavier looked at Wednesday up and down when they talked 
I hated it 
I watched as he followed her around like some dumb dog
I hated it 
I watched as he stared at her from afar 
I hated it 
I hated him 

"Wednesday do you wanna go to the weathervane?" Enid asked as Wednesday walked through the door in a rush 
"I'm going to the woods with Xavier" She rushed back to the door 
Enid scoffed "Whatever" 
The door shut
Enid sighed

"Wednesday want me to paint your nails" Enid smiled holding up her fresh coat of neon pink nails polish 
"I have to help Xavier with a project" Wednesday said as she quickly kissed her girlfriends forehead  
She then walked out and Enid was left alone once more 
She sighed and fell back into her bed 

"Hey babycakes want to go for a walk in the woods" Enid went up to her girlfriend and hugged her then gave her a quick kiss 
Wednesday ignored the nickname "Xavier wants to go look for the Hyde" Wednesday deadpanned 
"Oh cool, can I go?" Enid said not letting her girlfriend go 
"No" 
"Why??" 
"Because I don't want you to"
Enid didn't say anything 
Her grip on Wednesday never left 
Wednesday sighed "I want to keep you safe" she then brought one of her hands to Enids hair and began to run her fingers through it 
"Fine" Enid let go of her gloomy girlfriend 
Wednesday took hold of Enids chin 
She gave her quick kisses on her face and lips 
"I'll be back soon" Wednesday then left her sad girlfriend for the entire night and half of the next day 
Enid was furious 
She had never felt this mad 
Finally after literal hours Wednesday came back 
She was covered in dirt and sweat 
Enid was on her phone, she ignored her 
Wednesday didn't say anything 
It was like this for awhile since Wednesday was always off with Xavier doing god knows what Enid had found new ways to become entertained 
It consisted a lot of hangout with her friends 
In fact one night Enid came back to the dorm late, later than she usually does 
She quietly opened the door
Her back was turned as she closed the door 
"Where were you?" A very monotone voice called behind her 
She jumped slightly 
"God Wednesday, I was just hangout with Bianca and Yoko" Enid said as she walked to her side of the room 
"Bianca?" Wednesday followed close behind 
"Mhm Bianca"
"Since when are you friends with that snake of a siren" 
"Since you stopped hangout with me" Enid turned around to face the goth
Wednesday didn't say anything
Enid turned back around and began to undress 
She got into her pjs 
Wednesday didn't move from her spot 
Enid climbed into bed "What?" She looked at her girlfriend 
"What were you doing with her"
"We were just talking and stuff, why"
"I just find it a little odd that you suddenly hangout with them"
"I could say the same about Xavier"
Wednesdays expression changed 
"You only want to hangout with him, I can't remember the last time we even talked" Enid got up from her bed and walked up to Wednesday 
"Are you jealous" Wednesday almost smirked 
"This isn't about jealousy anymore Wednesday this is about us"
"Why do you hangout with him. What are you guys doing" Enid said angrily 
Wednesday didn't say anything
"Wednesday are you cheating on me?" Enid got closer to her 
"No I'm not, he's just been asking me to hangout with him and I felt bad-"
"You're a fucking liar I know you never feel bad about anything" 
"If you want to break up with me say that don't go cheating" Enid was on the brink of tears 
"I don't want to break up with you" Wednesday paused "I really don't know why I was hanging out with him more than you I guess I got obsessed with the case and I'm sorry" 
Enid wiped her tears "you could invite me to help you solve them" Enid whispered
"I'm sorry" Wednesday whispered back
Wednesday hugged Enid like she'd done multiple times when no one was looking 
"I promise we didn't do anything I love you and only you Enid" Wednesday hugged her tighter 
Enid knew this side of Wednesday it wasn't a surprise to her 
"Wanna hangout" Enid whispered as she sniffled 
Wednesday pulled back from the hug just enough to look Enid in the eyes 
"Yes" she then gave her a soft kiss
