Lucy Rosier 🐺
1st of October, Waxing Crescent 🌒

Miss Rosier,

I am writing to you in strict respects to your aunt. She is concerned for your lack of response to her letters and demands you reply. I am merely passing this message to you as a friend of your family.

Kind regards
LAM

I tore the letter in half and set it on fire with one flick of my wand, as I gritted my teeth. Mina and Dean gaped at me with their mouths filled with apple pie and I cleared my throat, pulling a plate of cake for myself.

'Pardon. I was not pleased with the content of this letter' I informed them and took a bite of the pie. It was late Thursday afternoon and the classes had finished for the day.

'Yeah we can tell' Dean scoffed and got called over by a group of boys from Hufflepuff so he walked over to their table. A quidditch match was coming up and everyone seemed buzzed for it.
Mina sent me a questioning look.

'Your aunt again?' She asked and I scoffed.

'Better - Malfoy. He dared asking me to reply to my aunt, can you believe it?' I threw my hands in the air and pulled out a piece of paper and a pen to scribble a reply.

Dear Monsieur Malfoy,

Stay out of it,

LAR

'Wow, that's dry' Mina pointed out, looking over my shoulder and I shrugged. I was still feeling heartbroken since he really began ignoring me. I felt no remorse. I made the note travel to his office and I returned to my pie, attempting to shut down a wave of emotions floating my way.

'Vengeful Lucy' my friend giggled and I tried to relax even if his message upset me. I had nothing to tell my aunt until I cool down. This family secret exposed in a bloody newspaper was a scar on my pride of carrying Rosier name and it was hard to swallow. Even harder than the fact Lucius was one of them too. Or the fact he chose to tease me for so long, just to break my heart. My jaw tensed at the memory of making out with him. I felt ashamed for letting myself lose so much control for this blonde, proud peacock.

'I understand hatred for muggles, I do' I spoke out of the blue and Mina rose her eyebrows, her blonde locks were tied into two pony tails, making her look adorable.

'Yeah, I mean witch trials are hard to forget' She pointed out and I nodded.

'Precisely. But joining a cult seems insane to me. It's like taking muggle crack' I sighed and glanced over at other students enjoying their desserts.

I had returned to my office after a tiring afternoon full of errands to run for McGonagal who was supposed to come back tomorrow. I felt exhausted and still had a pile of exams to mark. I stepped in the room and lit it up, finding a piece of paper on the ground.

As I read the short note, my blood boiled.

'Rosier' I hissed and quickly wrote a response.

My office, Rosier. Now.

I ensured the note reaches her and with shaky of anger hands, I began marking the pitiful work of students. I stumbled upon Lucy's writing and read her essey about the use of dark magic in survival situations. It was a brilliant piece of work and I almost felt angrier, as I could not mark it low at all, even if I childishly wished to do so.

I wanted to punish her for speaking to me this way...

No....

I wanted to punish her for looking at me with those luring golden eyes, fluttering lashes and the view of her perfectly shaped body. The thought of almost having my way with her was tormenting my thoughts endlessly. I wanted to slam her against my desk and fuck her like there is no tomorrow...
