"Seriously she forced you to wear a secret camera to a mission? Why the fuck did you accept this shit? She doesn't know you're Supergirl? You're her boss."

"Actually, she's mine." Kara reminded her.

"No at DEO. You command and she obeys, just it."

"It's a kinda hard it happens with Lena." Kara muttered to herself, but that sounds audible to Kate.

"Kick her ass." Kate blurted out.

"What? No! She's my best friend, I won't deny her just cause she's worried about me."

"Argh! You're too soft on her. That way she'll leave you behind."

"I'm not soft. It's just Lena was too worried with this mission that she wanted to come with us, so I hadn't not another way instead wear this."

Kate nodded, "Sure, speaking it makes sense. She'd disturb us."

"I don't asked she..."

Kate quickly covered Kara's mouth, denying her to ask. Steps were heard a few meters away, instigating Kate's ears to capture any move around. Carefully, the Batwoman raised up her neck out of the wall and scanned the area. A dozen of teenagers walked around, practically giving up their guide man. Some of them were boring, another enjoying the beers and others had simply stopped to smoke in the middle of the corridor. That definitely was a scene which get Kate upset. She doesn't mind with those louder screams or the suffocated smells, she already had passed by things worse at her bar, but handle teenagers? That's insane.

Urgh, maybe a smuggle doesn't sound bad, she thought. "Can you hear something from here?"

"I will try."

Kara closed her eyes, using all her brain to focus on the sounds. Her ears walked in the people like a snake, sliding among the voices gather the air, silence and invisible, plus everywhere. Her answers were just annoying after all. First sex, ranking badass, and a proud boy for banging ‘that blonde who sit on the first file of the classroom’ were not issues she appreciated, until a sigh came out, and Kara paralyzed.

"What's up? Did you find... Kara!"

She hadn't time to respond her, and flew. Thick, low, plus sweet. That voice couldn't stop looping in her ears. The super boots touched the ground. A curly-straight-brown hair met her eyes.

"...Carter?"

His spine crawled.

Eyes freaked out at his back, pictures started their bodies. Couldn't it be real, could it? Struggling his nerves, the young boy sighed and slowly turned his head. When the orbs met Kara's ones, he shone.

"Supergirl?"

Kara freaked her hands, "Oh Rao, it's truly you!" She couldn't help hugging him, already feeling the changing of the puberty on him. Carter was taller and his chin was longer. His bones were not so small and soft as Kara remembered, but his arms were still kind and loveless just like the past.

It has been a long time.

Kara would like to enjoy more this meeting but something started to fire her chest, forcing her shaking arms let the boy out. The fire spread in Kara, burning her veins and killing all refresh of peace in there bones. Her legs and arms were twitching, her smile abruptly deforming into that fire; amusing her, talking off all her control.

This feeling...

Her suffocated gasps made her dizzy vision down, then noticing a shining green light leave from Carter's moletom pocket.
