⋈THE CRIMSON WIDOW⋈

Washington, D.C.

2016.

Sofia was finally settled in with the new and upcoming terrorist organisation called Hydra, that was slowly creeping it's way into society everywhere. After leaving the Red Room a while ago, Sofia unfortunately couldn't tell how long she had been there. All she knew was to not speak unless spoken to, no asking questions and follow direct orders that either came from Pierce, Rumlow or even the Winter Soldier himself when on duty.

Sofia was around the age ten now and had proven her strength and skill overtime with the few mission that were set out. She was made train for the first few weeks with the Winter Soldier, it was to see how good of a fighter she was and could continually be. The Winter Soldier reported that she was a strong, quick paced and springy when she was nearly taken down, she'd always get back up and find someway to make sure she corrected her previous attempt.

Never counting anything as successful until the other was laying down licking their wounds or breathing their last breath.

Since she had successfully completed her small assignments over those months, she had gained an alias inside the Hydra system and the last thing on the minds of those who were perished at her small bloodied ten year old hands. The name that now tainted her ledger and she wasn't sure if she'd ever wipe it out.

She's called 'The Crimson Widow.'

The Crimson Widow is known to be ruthless, messy and and left no trace of herself behind. She was someone who was there but couldn't fully pinpoint the killings directly on her.

She was quite strong, reserved and never out of step. In her trainings which the Winter Soldier had been covering recently, he noticed that her style of fighting was combined with quicker steps, higher kicks and the calisthenics were coming much more connected. Pierce had been told about her recent success and felt that the Winter Soldier needed some 'guidance' for his next mission, hoping she could keep him from getting distracted.

Rumlow had barged into a session of sparring between Sofia and the Winter Soldier. The Winter Soldier had noticed that she had been on - edge and sluggish when it came to fighting another helpless victim and the last time she almost got caught with a dagger to the side. That was until she pulled away last minute which lead to the Winter Soldier scolding her for her inconsiderable actions. That's what led them to sparring for hours, he knew that Pierce needed her there for the next assignment and she had be ready before then.

The Winter Soldier didn't need to know that it was his painful woes that kept her awake from time to time. The fear was she'd be next, if she put a foot out of line.

One mission that really gave her the Crimson Widow mantle was one that will never be wiped from her memory, she could tell this story in her sleep but she'll never speak about it.

Sofia was forcefully woken up one night by one of the guards that Rumlow had sent to get her and bring her to meet him. Sofia didn't know what time it was considering it was still dark but still managed to pull herself up off the floor and away from the warm torn shawl. As she was roughly pushed on toward the long corridors, she realised that the Winter Soldier wasn't accompanying them and she turned back to his cell.
