A few of Dio's followers gathered behind him. "Lord Dio, we await your orders to eliminate him!" one spoke in a gleeful voice, probably unable to wait to rip Jonathan's head off. Another added. "I will sink my claws into him!"
"No, this one..." replied Dio while looking at JoJo who was unaffected by the threats of his henchmen. "...I'll take care of him myself." he finished with which the zombies left his side.
He pointed both of his index fingers at JoJo. "Let me be blunt, JoJo. I didn't want to have to do this myself. We grew up in the same house. Making you undead brings me no joy so I left you to my knights." he began, his eyes holding a darkness as he thought about the previous scene. "But I was too soft on you and by now I can't really deny that I wouldn't mind teaching you a lesson. Now I will strike you down without hesitation!" he announced with a broad laugh on his face.
"Likewise. I feel no guilt in killing you! Not after what you did to [Y/N]!" he spoke with his fist clenched in front of him and an angry expression on his face.
Dio's next words caught your attention.
"What happened to that gentleman with the beard who was with you? Did he run away?"
Jonathan averted his gaze when Dio mentioned him. You already knew more than enough with that action. For now, you had to swallow your feelings and focus. It wasn't the right time to mourn Zeppeli's death. Okay [Y/N] calm down. Jonathan is fine and Speedwagon is surely somewhere around. Once Dio is finally taken care of you can take care of all the other stuff.
"Dio, I need to make my feelings clear." JoJo spoke and fixed his fiery eyes on him. "This shames me as a gentleman but I Jonathan Joestar, will kill you to satisfy my wrath!" he screamed, pointing his finger at him, his face darkening at the memory of the many honorable people whose deaths the blond vampire caused and if that wasn't enough he forcibly took away your humanity and made you become something you loathe.
I can hardly imagine how [Y/N] feels about this but knowing her, I don't think she really thought about it because of the situation. Was it a mistake to bring her along in the first place? Damn it Dio, I will never forgive you for this!
"Come on JoJo!" Dio spurred him on.

The fate of the world was involved in the hated fight between the two brothers, each of whom looked at the other with the intention to kill. There was a cold wind blowing that made you shiver to the bone, caused by the spreading ice and yet at the same time it was as hot as if the sun was still shining in the sky on that dark night.
In the end the heat was hotter than the ice and let it melt away.
Dio fell from his throne and lost. His pride and greed led him to his downfall, for in the end fate was no longer on his side either. His last efforts to defeat Jonathan were in vain as he fell down the cliff with his melting body and a painful scream as the darkness swallowed him whole.
