tory's pov

calum dropped brandy and i off at her apartment and i quickly went inside.

"this must be awkward i'm sorry." brandy replied softly as she walked in behind me.

"it's fine. i'm sorry, i probably shouldn't have put my shitty pathetic problems on you." i mumbled.

"this isn't a shitty or pathetic problem tory. this is serious. what that girl did was horrific and no one deserves that." brandy spoke firmly as she unlocked her front door.

"it's cute." i replied when i walked inside.

"thanks love." brandy spoke with a soft smile.

"i'll take the couch." i mumbled as i sat down.

"you don't have t- "please, let me." i smiled softly.

"if you say so. if you need anything i'm in the room right there." brandy pointed as she walked into her restroom.

i sat there in complete silence. i didn't feel good about myself.

i slowly rolled up my sleeve and looked down at the gauze that was half fallen off at this point and took it off.

they weren't bleeding anymore, so it didn't really matter.

"so- brandy began before stopping herself and looking down at my arm.

i quickly shoved my sleeve down and looked up at her.

"just forget about it. you were saying?" i replied stiffly.

"don't do that anymore tory. that's so dangerous. you could die or get seriously hurt." brandy spoke softly.

"i told you to forget about it please." i spoke with tears in my eyes.

"no. don't do that to yourself." brandy replied firmly.

"it's not your problem. it's mine. i'm disgusting okay? this makes me feel clean." i spoke back just as firmly.

brandy sat next to me and looked me dead in the eyes, "sometimes you can't trust that voice in your head to tell you the truth and you also don't need it like you think you do."

that hit deep.

ashton's pov

it was now the next morning and i got almost no sleep. i was angry, but also saddened by the fact that my patient would do such a horrific thing to someone who was trying to be her friend.

i was waiting in my office for my first appointment when i decided i needed to talk to the chief first.

"hello sir, could i have a word?" i spoke as i opened the door.

"of course. have a seat." he spoke as he directed me to sit.

"i have a situation with a patient where i was informed that they committed rape against someone close to me." i spoke through my teeth.

"elaborate?" the chief spoke directing his full attention to me.

"i have a daughter, tory, who came to stay with me for a little while. she befriended my patient madison, who has bipolar and anger management. she can't take no. she thought my daughter was in love with her, when tory didn't say anything to provoke that what so ever. she raped her. madison raped my daughter. she's my patient, but i can't deal with this or her and would like to press charges." i spoke firmly.

"i'm so sorry dr. irwin. is you're daughter okay? i completely understand. i'll have the police on stand by and i'll also be in the room to help with the situation." the chief spoke as he stood up from his chair.

"she comes in 30 minutes." i spoke as i stood up.

"see you down there in 15." the chief replied as he pulled out his phone.

i went down to my office and waited patiently for madison to come.

the chief walked in 15 minutes early and sat with me while we waited.

madison and her mom came walking up to the hospital.

"is there a problem?" madison's mom spoke softly.

"yes, police." the chief spoke as he motioned for them to come into the room.

"what's going on?" madison's mom asked frantically.

"that stupid bitch told didn't she. i knew she was weak." madison chuckled.

her mom pushed her away and stared at her, "what the hell did you do?"

the police intervened and turned madison around, "you're under arrest for rape. you have the right to remain silent. anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law."

madison's mom stood there horrified.

"she raped my daughter for not loving her." i spoke stiffly.

"i'm so sorry, no a-amount of words will ever be able to make up for that." madison's mom sobbed.

she was right, but it wasn't her fault she had a broken child.
