You tried to say something but you weren't able to say anything.
You were sad and Jevil was absolutely destroyed inside, you could only feel bad.
Seeing him tremble and cry in fear broke your heart.

After some minutes that felt eternal to the both of you you saw Jevil raise his head up, you couldn't say his eyes were puffy, mostly because it was impossible to tell, but you could see some streams on his face making it a darker shade of purple. You raised your head to look at him as well. He calmed down eventually but he was still slightly trembling, his grip on your hand loosened at some point but you just squeezed him back.
You saw his, um, pupils? Yeah, let's call them that. You saw his pupils look at you, you smiled in answer to assure he didn't feel worse by looking at your saddened face. "I'm sorry, sorry. I didn't mean to."
"Don't worry Jevil, no wonder you felt like crying, it's okay, don't blame yourself" You felt like an underpaid therapist.
Jevil smiled in response "What time is it?" He asked out of the blue.
"Good question." You started "I don't have a watch on me, I could go up and check if you want me to". You suggested, you didn't really want to leave him alone right now but it could serve as a breather for you two.
"Could you? Please, please." He answered with a familiar smile.
"Sure thing" You smiled and got up, letting his hand go, you spun to the way to the stairs and started to go up them, drying some of the remaining tears on your face as well. You hoped no one was around to see you like this. No one should be there anyway.
You got up quickly and went to the kitchen, you knew there was a clock there along with food, and to be quite frank you were kinda hungry so you took the chance. 
The clock read 2 AM, still relatively soon. You grabbed some apples from a fruit bowl nearby and made your way back down hoping that Jevil would like apples.
You were faster than he imagined, he didn't even move. "I'm back!" You said, still a shadow from his sight, making yourself clearer with each step you took down. "It's 2 AM by the way, still pretty soon". You got yourself in front of Jevil "I got you an apple, I don't know if you like them but, um, you should eat." You said.
"Thanks, thanks!" He said back in his cheery mood, you were glad he was back. He grabbed the apple through the bars and gave it a chomp. You laughed as you sat back down and took a way smaller bite of your apple than Jevil's.
*Taking a bite of the apple makes your face scrunch upon the sour taste, the sensation made you amused*
"Huh?" You said out loud "What was that?" You asked to no one.
"What was what, what?" Jevil asked with his mouth full, you could barely make up his words.
"A voice... I don't know what it was" You said as you swallowed the apple bite.
*Your HP was maxed out*
"..." You remained quiet as you recognized 'HP', Jevil talked about it before.
"Y/N?" He asked, worried "Are you okay, okay?" He continued.
"It's nothing, don't worry about it" You smiled trying to play it off, you didn't want to tell him, afraid he would blame himself. 'So, he is telling the truth.' you thought.
"If you say so, so" He dismissed.
"Yeah I-- JEVIL!" You screamed as you saw Jevil eat the whole apple. By the whole apple I mean the whole apple. Bone and seeds included. "YOU DON'T EAT THAT" You shouted.
