POV SWITCH: WINTER

I was chained to the wall by my neck, there was a white bucket of water and a bed with an empty space beneath its frame.

I wondered where the soldier was.

I paced around the room on all fours, as far as the chain would let me, which was a few feet away from the door.

The door opened, a man with a nocked bow and arrow entered. He was one of the five I had watched over.

I stopped pacing and watched him, a small man entered the room behind him, he had a bucket. It was smaller than the one in the corner.

The man moved quickly, fearfully, like prey. He dropped the bucket a small distance from where I knew my chain would reach before running out.

The man with the bow pointed his weapon at me until the other had cleared the room.

I gave a huff, moving towards the bucket to sniff at it. It was full of cubed meat, I weighed my options. This food could be drugged, but they could also just gas me again if I didn't eat it.

The bowman watched my debate, observing.

I eventually just ate.

The bowman left after I did so.

I finally let myself relax as the door close and lock itself behind me.

I removed the arrow I had nocked in my bow, putting it back in my quiver.

I walked back to the conference room the others were in. "Seeing that thing never gets easier, does it?" I asked as I sat down, placing my bow on the table.

Tony nodded in agreement, "Hope I don't have to see that thing ever again in person," he agreed.

Nat rolled her eyes, "The files we collected call her Winter. We know Barnes has an attachment to it. As long as we have that, we have the soldier," she motioned toward both monitors.

Steve remained silent in favor of watching the screen Barnes was on, the guy hadn't moved since Nat left him.
