I leaned against the wall breathing heavily, the noise was spread out all over the building, pain was shooting through my arm. I need to end this now. More gun shots were going off, their armory still hadn't been found. I was completely alone on this side, I looked around the corner before diving back as more shots went off. I pulled my mag out and checked it, only 3 bullets left. "Euna?!" I could hear Jongho screaming for me, I flipped around the corner and shot one bullet. It hit the guy in the arm giving me time to shoot him once more in the head. 1 bullet.
I slid the gun against my back and ran for his gun, a bigger one, more weight. I checked his body and found another full mag, more ammo is better. More shots hit around my feet making me duck where the guy was, behind me were two more guys, I let off a few rounds hitting them in the chest. Close enough. After making sure they weren't moving I started checking doors, Jongho's voice rang through again but he sounded farther. He sounded desperate to find me.
"I'm alive! Just focus on the mission!" I screamed before ducking inside a small room, two more of minions ran past me. Idiots. "Where'd she go?" I opened the door up and held the gun up letting off bullets into both of their backs. "Right here." I checked my surroundings to find myself alone. I searched the bodies and found more ammo. I need to find her and end this. Now.
~Two days before~
"Guys!" Hongjoong ran into the living room where we were all playing with Mimi, he had his phone held out making us all shut up. "Is everyone listening?" It was Taeyong's voice, "Yes." There was a moment of silence, "She's buying up properties. The building the last fight was at, the property Euna stayed at with her father. His properties. We don't know what her plan is but there was one more property she didn't touch."
I held my breathe, "It's an outpost, Euna your father's men stayed there. Is there anything you remember about it?" My phone buzzed making me look at it, it was photos of the outpost. "No. I've never seen it before." I showed San and he shook his head, "I sent a few men there to check it out and there was nothing special about it. But I have reason to believe that's where she wants to end this all."
I let Yeosang take Mimi as I stood up getting closer, "Why?" Hongjoong spoke before me, "She knows we're watching her, she's going to make it seem like a trap. We'd buy the property and she'd ambush us. She knows that's how we'd see it and set up a whole other plan, that part I can't figure out." I leaned against the doorway, "I do." Everyone looked at me, "We've gotten under her skin, she knows we have numbers just like her. We know about her son and that won't fly with her. She knows the pity attacks will only lower her defense rather than do anything to us."
I rolled my eyes, "She wants to end this. Us against them. It'll be a blood bath and that's exactly what she wants. She'll wait until we're there, she'll have people inside but her real defense will be the men that move in behind us. We'll be blocked in and forced to fight, if we have someone scaling the building we might be able to get to her faster and end this." Hongjoong looked at me, "No. you aren't scaling a building Euna. You know she'll be looking for you."
I was about to open my mouth when Taeyong spoke, "But not for you." I narrowed my eyes at the phone, "No." Taeyong sighed, "Give the phone to Euna." Hongjoong hesitated but handed it to me, I took the phone off speaker and held it to my ear.
Taeyong
Not happening
Euna think about it. No one would be looking for him. He could get farther than us.
And if something goes wrong? What do suppose we do then?
Euna, he won't die. He wouldn't be alone and you know that. We'd send someone else she wouldn't be looking for.
