"What are you gonna do" this is  bad, very bad, Neteyams right the truth would always come out but that's better than being direct..."We're going to have to lie, it may be wrong but we'll get in less trouble" I closed her eyes.
She was a sweet girl but now she's with her mother and brother. I picked up the dead girl's body.
We started walking towards the village "Ms'tiyeuh!, My baby girl" I turned around it was her mother running towards us "I'm so sorry she's been causing you trouble but I'm glad to know she was somewhere safe" I looked at the lady she looked so relieved and happy that her daughter is safe or should I say was safe.
"Is she sleeping?" I couldn't lie to her and say yes, I looked at Neteyam he gave me the 'you on your own' look. I took a deep breath "Ma'am... Uhm I-" I stopped myself trying to think of something "I'm so sorry, we didn't see her" now the look on her face changed "What do you mean?"
"I mean that she went into the water and..drowned" the woman closed her eyes as she realized what I was saying "I knew this day would come...that she would be curious of the ocean"
 her tone turned soft "I tried to protect" she stopped and cried " I tried to protect her, I promised- I promised to her real mother that I'd protect her as my own" she cried harder, I felt so bad she cried louder catching the attention of others. 
They ran up to her trying to comfort her and asking what happened I told them a lie saying we didn't see her following behind us, and when we went underwater we saw her covered in seaweed.
Everyone started coming and then eventually, Jake and Neytiri
"What happened," Jake said walking towards us "It was a mistake I swear" Jake looked at the little girl's body in my hand people crying and comforting the mother.
The mom came to her senses "It is not your children's fault, it was my little girl" she touched Ms'tiyeuh's hair "I'll take her from your hands" 
she took the girl's body I noticed more tears coming out of her eyes when she felt no heartbeat 
"Why weren't you two at training" Neytiri mentioned, I didn't know what to respond to that I can't tell her I was making out with her son "Mother I-"
 Neteyam started to talk but Jake interrupted, he yelled and yelled at Neteyam saying he was disappointed in him because of the way he's been acting recently 
Neytiri grabbed my arm and we started walking away I looked back to see Jake still lecturing Neteyam. This is all my fault.
"Ma'yan, I know your not trouble and I know you do not mean trouble" she started talking, I love Neytiri but I don't feel like having small talk. My stomach was punching me the inside and my heart was racing I needed to calm down.
The next thing  I know we were back at the tent, Lo'ak, Kiri, and Tuk along with Tsireya and Roxto was there.
I entered the tent not saying a word to anyone, I went over to where I sleep and just rested there.
 The others didn't bother checking on me and I felt perfectly fine with that.
