"Just talk to her man" Andrew finally said as he couldn't just stand there anymore
He couldn't stand there and just watch Theo stand in the kitchen acting even moodier than usual. How his phone had rung or pinged about four different times - who knew what it was, but it was a lot either way, just within the few moments Theo had been in the room.
How he didn't even dare to spare a glance at who was trying to contact him but just continued his task at hand. That task being making himself a sandwich but the moment he had made it, he didn't even eat it. He just looked at it. He looked at the food he just made and sighed to himself.
He looked like he didn't want to even eat it, but was eating merely for the fact that it was his way of survival. He couldn't starve himself to death.
And this is why Andrew finally broke the deafening silence by saying "Just talk to her man"
"What are you talking about?" Theo asked warily, wanting to know who her supposedly was
With a small laugh as he shook his head, Andrew couldn't believe Theo, "You know what I'm on about. And you know who I'm on about. I'm not blind and I'm definitely not dumb." He pointed out, as Theo was as still as a statue, waiting for Andrew to reveal what he knew
His heart was pounding out of his chest because he knew Naomi didn't want to tell him until she was ready, whatever that meant, but now if he knew...Theo wouldn't even know what to say
"Talk to her" he repeated after a moment with a look that just told Theo everything.
"Drew, I-" Theo stumbled on his words, "How did you-" he began to ask, not even having to say her name but he knew deep down that's who they were talking about and Andrew knew.
He always knew.
"Mate I see the way you look at her, I see the way you are with each other" was the first thing Andrew said, which meant a lot of things. It could of been referencing a lot of moments, from when Theo and Naomi first met back in first year and they argued for the first time, to them on bonfire night - staying up until everyone went to bed, to-
"And when we first moved into this house, you definitely like to moan her name pretty loudly" He laughed, interrupting Theo's rushing thoughts as he slapped Theo's shoulder. Theo made an apologetic smile at the fact that Andrew was probably talking about the morning after he had Naomi come over to the house for the first time and she slept over. She gave him a helping hand pretty early in the morning just before her pill alarm went off and Theo wasn't exactly quiet about it.
Rubbing the back of his neck, awkwardly Theo cringed as he said, "Sorry about that..."
"No, no by all means - you two seemed pretty happy that morning and, several other times after. Yeahhh, man I heard you two a lot...but I won't tease you anymore" he laughed at Theo scrunching his face like a child in distaste, at his teasing.
"So you're not pissed off?" Theo asked hesitantly because this was the first he was hearing of Andrew knowing about him and Naomi
And yet Naomi made it such a big deal - claiming that he would be pissed off, but he seemed so - calm?
"I mean, yeah I was annoyed that you both didn't think to tell me, but I got over it. I figured that you two could either be friends with benefits or a have a whole ass relationship - either way it's none of my business unless you ask it to be. It's between you two" Andrew answered after a moment, trying to say he wasn't going to get involved like most of their mates would but at the end of the day if Theo and Naomi chose to get themselves in this relationship - they were gonna have to be ones to figure it out themselves
